Easy to travel to and easy to find. You get what you pay for. Very basic but comfortable stay

Shower water pressure was not good at all, and some of the cleaning was poor. However the bed was very comfy and we slept well

Window Would Not Close

No heating at Dec. Even the hotel provide heater it also didnt work, and very windy from outside window terreble hotel ever.

Couldnt sleep because of people arguing and fighting. had to check out at 1.45am and stay with a friend

Even an Asylum Seeker would not stop here Pros: NONE Cons: 1. no toilet paper in toilet 2.Shelf above towel rail hanging off the wall 3.Electric wires protruding from wall above sink 4. Very noisy from traffic on road outside. 5. Single glazed window that wouldn't shut properly 6. Bed extremely uncomfortable due to mattress being an old sprung type. 7.Only one pillow each provided. 8.One dirty bath towel each. 9.Occupants of room above moving furniture or something about all night on creaky floorboards 10. Black mould present on en-suite skirting boards and shower tray 11. Shower either scalding hot or freezing, no happy medium 12. Corridor outside room unlit, difficult to locate key slot in door 13. Other guests seemingly unaware of how loud they are in the corridors 14. NO FIRE ESCAPE PLAN OR INSTRUCTIONS To sum up this place in one word.................TERRIBLE My advice is to spend a bit more and stay elsewhere, Just wish I had now..................

Where do I start - pests in the room, windows broken, radiators not working, no mobile heaters, shower leaking, no hot water, filthy flimsy w/c and sink in the bathroom, extremely rude & ignorant staff, was served mouldy bread in breakfast, breakfast lady is extremely rude and discriminatory in nature - makes her own rules on set breakfast!! So on the name of hot vegetarian breakfast you will be served 1 mouldy toast, cold watery beans spilling in the plate (a ladle at max) a single very oily hash brown (can get 2 if you are English or European, no chance for Asians) & 2 eggs. Breakfast served between 7 and 9 pm strictly, don’t even ask for a takeaway!!! As they have no arrangements for it and are too worried about getting dishes back from the room. Absolutely stingy disgusting behaviour!! Not just from one staff member but all including the manager, Raj. Like another lady says in her review - no response or attempt to resolve complaints from the management. If anything the staff at reception will try to shut you up and somehow get rid of you. This place should be shut down permanently!! They are renting rooms which clearly have health & safety issues and take no responsibility later. Please DO NOT book this hotel!!!

Stay away from this place, yes you may get what you pay for, but what they fail to tell you (which personally I think should be in big letters on their page) is that the local Council use this hotel to house ************ and alcoholics, our room was right by where they congrigated which at 2am I can tell you is no joke, if I'd had known about this before booking I would never have booked to stay here, not impressed at all and we will be making an official complaint.

Pros: Location - 20 min walk from Quayside. Cons: it's not great. If you need somewhere cheap to stay near Newcastle pubs it'll do the job. But don't expect much, however it is much cheaper than anywhere else in the area, so that's obviously reflected in the quality of what you got. Stayed with a mate for a mad night in Newcastle.. if I had been with my Mrs shed probably have wanted us to leave, but I wasn't so it was fine.
