This hotel is a disaster! I had inadvertently booked the wrong date for check in. **** happens. Takes 3 1/2 hours to get to Gatlinburg from Nashville. We arrived around 10:30pm and it was a spur of the moment, short get away. I had originally booked a king jacuzzi suite. Well apparently they didn’t have any other rooms but 1 standard queen size pet friendly room across the street! It was nasty! Needed remodeled badly! But I took it on the chin because I had booked the wrong night. That wasn’t my complaint. My complaint was I had paid for a King Jacuzzi Suite and ended up with a standard Queen. When I asked for a partial refund (the difference) the hotel out right refused. I’ve stayed with Sidney James several times and for over 20 years. My family has used them for our weddings we have had in Gatlinburg, we have always loved them. But after this. None of us will ever stay with them again. I should have been refunded the difference between a King Jacuzzi suite and a standard Queen especially when you can get a standard Queen for roughly 70 bucks and I paid 140.00. Needless to say we left at 9am that morning because I have asthma and I couldn’t breathe in that room anyways! We will never return and I would advise anyone to RUN to another hotel asap because this one has went down hill and nobody that works there even cares!

The carpet was so filthy our feet got black on the bottom if we walked without shoes in there. The bed was high in the middle and sloped down on each side. There was no housekeeping for the 3 days we were there. Unbelievable. We did not know this until we were checking in to the motel.

We booked with Sidney because of photos shown in the booking app.
When we arrived to premises we discovered it wasn’t everything it appeared to be..
parking lot crammed. Room tiny. “Creekside view” was ridiculous there is a creek that’s pretty but there’s a motel parking lot immediately after the creek. We ordered from the diner on premise & the lady barely could keep her eyes open not sure if she was high or tired (appeared high)
The beds were so uncomfortable killed my back my husband & daughters. It is convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. The price was great rate. Also the pool looked trashed not as flourishing as shown.
The maintenance guy was great! Our tv didn’t work for our entire first day there we called front office and they sent him right away. He replaced the entire tv an that was that.

Location was excellent near everything within Walking Distance. Will definitely return and recommend this property.

Very dated, room wasn’t the cleanest and shades were not for a honeymoon. Also no card reader snack machines
