First thing I noticed when checking in was the warm welcome and nice smiling faces! The clerks were a mother daughter team and we chatted a bit about the state. Normally we do NOT stay in town but in a cabin in the woods but this was a nice short visit so we didn’t mind. It’s on the River Road which is one block behind the main ***** so much quieter yet convenient to walk to many shops and restaurants on the *****. Just packaged items for their “continental breakfast” like cereal, packaged muffins etc but no worries as Crockets Breakfast Camp is right up the hill! Has a nice clean pool, balcony that looks out over the pool, rooms are nicely kept and beds are comfy! Being June we didn’t use the fireplace but it is a nice added touch for those staying in the cooler months. Price is right as well! You can’t go wrong with this hotel! The only thing I would suggest is better lighting.
