The breakfast is simple, typical Geneva style. The surrounding is very quiet and the rest is very good. I stayed for 5 days and the house was cleaned very well every day. We went downstairs to find the front desk staff (an Asian female employee who helped us check in and spoke Chinese). Since we only had one key card, she said that only we could open the door, and only employees had the key to open the safe. . So she asked a male employee in a blue shirt to take the key and go upstairs to help us open the safe. Everything else was intact, but only the cash in the wallet was missing. The zippers of other small bags also showed signs of being opened. During this period, the female employee also stated that all the cleaners were off work at this time. There were only three employees in the hotel that night, including these two and a male employee with a white shirt and a beard sitting at the front desk. The suitcase placed on the bed showed signs of being turned over, the zipper of the clothes was opened, and the hand towel originally hanging in the bathroom was also taken away. He was very skilled in committing the crime and only wanted to make money, or he didn't expect us to come back so soon so he didn't have time to steal other things (there were computers, cameras, etc. on the table). The thief knew when we were coming back because someone was waiting in the lobby. Immediately call the police that night. When the police came, they just went through the process. The hotel surveillance is only in the lobby, not on the floors, so there is no way to prove who has entered our room. There is also a room key system that can detect who else has entered our room besides our key during the period, but it cannot be retrieved until the technician comes to work the next day. I didn't sleep well all night. The manager came to work the next day. After the technician came to make arrangements, he said that they could only look at it if the police came. Only the manager has permission to view it during this period. In the afternoon, I went to the police station to report the crime and take a transcript. Since it was Sunday, the police could not be dispatched. The hotel unilaterally claimed that it had seen the surveillance and key systems and there was no suspicion. I would like to ask the hotel, money was stolen from the safe within just over 20 minutes after we left the house. The thief knew exactly when we left and came back to the room we were staying in. He had the keys to enter and open the safe, and he was so anxious to escape in the end. The boxes were forgotten to be put back on the ground. The possibility of collusion between the inside and outside to commit the crime can be imagined. We originally stayed for two nights and checked out early, but the hotel didn't apologize until we checked out. They just refunded the room fee for the night we checked out early. Is this the hotel's attitude towards consumers? It has seriously threatened the safety of the residents. Who would dare to live in such a den of thieves? Also, the female employee who spoke Chinese did not come to work until the evening from the second day after the incident occurred. I asked the manager and found out that the three employees were on duty these days. The hotel's behavior is too bad.
