The location is excellent, breakfast is basic (italian style), room small that smells like dust with bathroom that looks more like the one on a cruise ship. Bed was very uncomfortable because it has old style blistering springs. I guess it’s fine for night or two.

It was close to the station and the main bus stop, and the city center was within walking distance. It was quiet if you closed the windows, the breakfast was simple but better than nothing, and they also kept my luggage for me so I could rest a little until the next bus. I think it's a good hotel.

The room facilities are relatively old and simple. Close to the station, suitable for a one-night stay on a business trip. The room is relatively quiet.

The good thing is that there is an elevator and the hygiene is not bad. The service is given an extra star because the mineral water bought at the front desk is affordable. The environment is a bit old and feels like the last century.

The convenient location of the hotel will cover all the shortcomings. Everything is within walking distance. The cruise terminal is 600 meters away. The breakfast is excellent.

It is very close to the pier and you can walk to the port to board the ship.
This hotel is excellent. The rooms are very clean, the service is good, and the location is very convenient. It’s across from the main train station, but set up on a hill with a nice view. My room was not facing the street and was quiet. I met several of the front-desk staff during the day and evening…all of them were helpful and polite. The breakfast was healthy and had a nice selection.

This hotel is past its prime. It was probably super swanky when it was built, and has stunning views over Genoas port and railway station - but it has not kept up to modern standards. The rooms feel outdated and old. However: the price is low, and for travellers arriving by train the hotel could not be better placed. The rooms have high ceilings and excellent aircondition, as well as good water pressure in the bathrooms. We stayed two nights in the middle of the heat wave and could not have asked for better sleep. Our only complaint would be that the night receptionist did not seem to like his guests very much. We would absolutely recommend the hotel for travellers on a budget, travellers who would like to live close to Genoas narrow & non-gentrified alleyways, and trainspotters who will enjoy the views to all arriving trains!

In a renovated period building not recommended for those with walking problems as it is located on many levels. Clean and spacious room probably renovated by a self-made man: interlocking false parquet flooring not well levelled; rustic painting. New furnishings, large and complete bathroom but with details to maintain. Cramped and poorly maintained reception. Bear in mind the presence of the railway below which however produces background noise. Average breakfast. Friendly service staff.

I'm young but I've traveled half the world and I can confidently say that Bellevue is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Where to start from? Cleanliness: dust fell from the headboard of the bed while we slept, all the surfaces were full of dust, the stairs and landings were dirty on the floor every day, the ashtrays were always full of cigarettes, empty beer bottles left on the terrace. Musty smell at the entrance and in the elevator so strong it makes you uncomfortable. For two days I didn't take a shower because I had a feeling of disgust in the bathroom and this thing has never happened to me, I had to use wipes to clean myself. Dirty and never cleaned walls (I attach photos) Room and furnishings: stuck in the distant 80s. Nothing has been changed, I don't think even the blankets. I think I saw the ugliest picture I have ever seen in the break room (I attach photos). The colors are totally random, no matching in style. PS: broken spring mattress. Staff: "at the entrance you will always find someone you don't need to keep the keys"... Yes, it's a shame that the door is locked and that very often there was no one to open the door. Completely listless, "scared" responses from all the staff. The waitress from the break room didn't even take away the previous people's dirty cups which we had to move ourselves. Refreshment room: the saddest breakfast I've ever seen, three croissants, a spreadable cream costing 2 cents, two lemons and two apples that are who knows how many days old, two hard packaged biscuits. Never seen something like this, and we are talking about a 3-star hotel. Location: the only positive note because it is close to the station, yes, it's a shame that for the quality it was better to take two steps further. Conclusion: I chose to stay because I was pregnant and I was looking for a place as close as possible to the station because I can't carry weight. Seeing the price and the 3 stars (250 euros for two nights, double room) I thought it was at least decent, if not of quality, let's not talk about two euros. For a few pennies more we could have stayed in better hotels nearby (all beautiful). I was fooled by the photos of the terrace and I thought that in any case a minimum for the rooms was given the 3 stars. What can I say, I only recommend it for those who want to have a nightmare experience. PS bring wipes for both intimate areas and surfaces.
