1 star property, and now we understand why. First, we had a hard time finding the hotel as it's not marked well on Google Maps and the surrounding neighborhood felt "unsafe". Arriving at the hotel we were greeted by a bad smell, a long steep staircase and a semi-stuck plastic door that we had to push hard to open. At the reception we checked in very slowly and they gave us the keys to the room: on the second floor with no lift. We took our bags and went up another very narrow and steep staircase to the room. The door lacked a real lock: there was a very bland and not very functional mechanism, as well as mounted upside down. In the room we immediately perceived a bad smell, a lot of dust on the bed and the furniture, a bathroom in very precarious conditions, wall sockets missing or detached, window almost falling.
We took 5 minutes to calm down, without even sitting on the bed, we looked for another hotel and left right away.
Terrible, awful, an experience that taught us not to be stingy about hotels.
