Really friendly and helpful staff. €45 per person with breakfast. After the half marathon, we showered there and stored our luggage without any problems. Top."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is convenient, right next to the train station, yet all the sights are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need, including robes and slippers. The hotel is stylishly decorated, preserving the atmosphere of a historic grand hotel. Breakfast is extensive and the coffee is delicious. You can also relax in the rooftop jacuzzi."

"Hotel has lots of charm Room was excellent, once we got the room we paid for Tried to give us a lesser room until I showed them our room picture (Beware) Location is great for the train station to go places Restaurants limited nearby Hotel has only breakfast !!!!! Not even allowed to bring a cake back to have with afternoon coffee( totally stupid) Therefore we would not return 1, the elevator 2, the lack of service after breakfast (which is good)"

"The hotel is near Brignole Station, but I wouldn't recommend walking outside after dark. The hotel itself is in a creepy building, and you must take the elevator (very small and very creepy) to the reception. The room was nothing like the pictures. It was nice and smelled bad (not sure of what, I didn't want to find out). I was only there for 6 hours, as I was travelling further for the weekend and then back to Genoa. I didn't/wouldn't go back to that hotel."

Location : its located only few steps from Darsena Metro and a lot of historical locations around this place . So if you are a solo traveler and its your first time to reach Genoa , this is a good option for you . Note : make sure you book the room with balcony"

The staff both at the time of booking and during the stay were very professional and kind. The hotel is 2 steps from Boccadasse in an area with restaurants. "My grandson booked this hotel to surprise his girlfriend ,he is 19 and saved up for this ,paid 997 euros for 4 nights ,stupidly non refundable , he realises now big mistake .Due to unfodeen circumstances cannot now go on these dates 19/05 2026 to 02/06 /2026. That is a lot of money for a young man who has worked very hard for a holiday . The hotel refuses to refund or even part as a goodwill gesture.I have spoken to hotel receptionist and she suggested emailing ,3 emails and no reply ,I find this really bad for a hotel to not even offer anything whatsoever ,he now can’t have a holiday at a later date as he has lost 997 euros .i know the hotel can sell the room on so they are not very nice people to not even answer .It really upsets and annoys me when people are not willing to help. Yes it was his own stupid fault and a very hard lesson for the future . Hope it makes you feel good Marina Place Resort keeping all that money ."
