The hotel is what I imagined. The old house is very beautiful and clean. The location is also good. You can basically walk to the attractions you want to go. The service is warm and the breakfast is also good. Recommended to stay

A beautiful hotel with very welcoming staff. We had generous and comfortable accommodation for a family of six to stay together in one space. The location was perfect to explore historic Georgetown and access some excellent restaurants. We did not want to leave.

Such an amazing hotel!! The staff was very attentive and thoughtful. When we weren’t able to have breakfast on our last day they packed us some to go bags for the plane. The hotel itself is beautiful and historical. Location is great- easily walkable to all the main attractions. They also have amazing air conditioning which was very important in the Malaysian heat! I could not recommend staying here more!

We had a fantastic time at East Indies mansion. The hotel is absolutely magnificent and very well maintained. The staff is adorable and very helpful (they did everything they could to help us). The situation is ideal. The room was gigantic and very cosy. I would 100% go back there. It totally exceeded our expectations.

Quiet and peaceful place on a busy street. In fact this place is in little India. There are lots of comfy sofas to relax. Ai Tee is extremely friendly and helpful, she will recommend good restaurants and help to make our stay comfortable. Many restaurants and cafes near by, Armenian Street is 15 min walk. There is no TV in the room so better bring own entertainment, and room has no bar fridge or kettle but they are available in the common area.

Beautiful, unique hotel in a great location Walkable to Armenia street, clan houses, fort Cornwallis and loads of restaurants and cafes Staff were super helpful with making our stay as comfortable as possible, as well as with local tips Air conditioning worked perfectly which was great as being our and about in George Town was hot!!
