This was not the first time staying in Royale Chulan, the property still maintained good, the breakfast variety is fine. The swimming pool water is a salty, not sure why, anyway, my kids still enjoy playing in the pool. Walking distance to nearest attractions. Will stay again if next visit

Nice & clean hotel, with nice pool, convenience place to visit the tourism place around and delicious food around. Hotel breakfast nice and a lot of choice. Worth for money.

Great hotel with a variety choices for the breakfast, large room, huge pool and my kids enjoy for it. The gym is also good one. Maybe will come again here for 3 times.

Need to remind and called for three time to request for toothbrush. And take 45 min to wait for them to send it, just wonder the toothbrush is send from Batu ferringi ? And the receptionist make excuse som more .

The staffs is very helpful and polite. The room very clean and spacious. Location is fine there is a food court close to and open for breakfast till lunch(2pm) last order is 1.45pm.

The room I checked in on the first day was not good. There was constant noise. I asked to change the room. The front desk quickly changed the room and told me that the noise in the room came from the air conditioner engine. Overall, the stay experience was good. The location is excellent. I went to the city. All the attractions here can be reached on foot, within 15 to 20 minutes. The hotel service is very good. Everything requested is delivered in time. The room hygiene is not bad, but the facilities are really old. The breakfast is very rich and has many choices. It's worth staying despite the old facilities.

Near to town, as we know Penang is rich with street food. Most of the popular restaurants amd stalls are within walking distance or less than 15 minutes driving distance. Always become my choice everytime I have trip to Penang

the Royale Chulan Penang offers a good location and satisfactory dining options for families visiting Penang. However, the hotel could enhance its appeal by addressing the size and condition of its family rooms and updating its pool facilities to ensure a more enjoyable and safer experience for all guests. Despite these areas for improvement, our family's stay was pleasant, and we would consider returning in the future, hopeful for these enhancements.
