The hotel location is strategic because it's nearby Padang Kota so easy to find food and walking at the beach. Besides that, the hotel also clean, comfort and convenient. More over the staff so friendly and take action immediately when we ask for something.

Not suitable to stay here with kids. The stairs are too steep, dangerous & tired to carry your kids. Bad soundproofing, if your kids shouting everyone in hotel can hear. Transparent toilet and no curtains at the front door, if someone open the room’s door can already see everything. Hot shower is not working bcs the water pipes leak. Staffs are friendly but not a really safe hotel. Location great near many restaurants but there are many other hotels here can be considered.

GOOD LOCATION. The rest are overall OK. Hotel is clean but a bit old. Bathroom is unique. We were assigned to the room located at the ground floor, so it was a bit noisy when someone passed by the street.

If you plan to cover all the attractions at penang georgetown, this hotel is the right place! Located at town. Sebelah ada convinient store. Less than 2km from mural art, few nasi kandar restaurants
Staff friendly & helpful. Bilik ni sesuai utk 1-2 person.
Deposite required & refundable.

Good location, near scenic spots, foods or restaurants are nearby. Only room is small, bathroom and toilet are in the same compartment, not convenient. Near road, nosiy in night time, but staff is helpful, give me ear plugs, so I can sleep better in another night.

Bathroom is glass window with curtain. Even so curtain can’t fully close the entire glass window.
Entered the room and killed 2 mosquitoes.
Poor soundproof. Can hear cars on the street and people walking in the hallways.

The location is very convenient within George Town, but the beddings had spots, were too old, and need to be changed with new ones.

The staff was friendly and nice. The room was so clean.
But I need to check-in early, if you want to check-in early, you have to pay 50rm.

The staff are friendly, but cleanliness is really problematic, lots of ants crawling on the wall at the night time, and spots of mold on the wall as well. I have to check out two night before my planned check out time

The location is so strategic. You can just walk around to the nearest tourist point. Very clean & peace. The staff is so friendly. Toilet at the lobby also clean. I will come here again. Thank you so much.

Unsure of which hotel to book. Definitely didn’t regret going for The Southern Boutique Hotel.
Location wise is near to anywhere literally walking distance, there are other hotels which is in the middle of hotspots but it will be chaotic soo ya chose to be away.
Staffs are great, helpful people. Just seek for advice/help if need to. Felt secured in the hotel.
Amenities toothbrush & toothpaste is provided. 2 in 1 Shampoo & Body is available too. But any needs of toiletries you can purchase it from a 24/7 shop below.
Since I travel solo, room size is good enuf for me as most of the time I’m outside. No complains!
And lastly there is ROOF GARDEN (Same level as the rooms too), you can smoke (for smokers) and eat to enjoy the night vibes.
