I hope to stay there again in Penang. The hotel is very close to attractions, no need to walk far. The rooms are clean and a bit classic. ฉันหวังว่าจะได้เข้าพักอีกที่ปีนังที่นั่น โรงแรมใกล้ที่เที่ยวมากไม่ต้องเดินไกลห้องสะอาดคลาสสิกไปหน่อย

Excellent location with spacious rooms and a sea view — overall a really pleasant stay. The only small inconvenience is that the parking lot is a bit of a walk from the hotel entrance, but aside from that, everything was great.

Nearby places of interest in Georgetown. Parking is available however very confusing coz limited signboard. AC is cool and room is spacious.

Bayview Hotel Penang classic hotel, convenient and walk distance for local good food. The hotel staff are helpful and kind, and the hotel premises itself is grand though it has seen more gloried days in the past. The rooms are spacious with beautifu scenery and beds comfy and puffy pillows. 💙 However, a noticeable area for improvement is the maintenance of the ceilings.

Nice hotel.. at city center.. great view.. parking was little difficult. But overall oky...

Room is big..nice view …but cannot put luggage in lobby after 12pm..

The room wasn't very clean; there was hair in the bathroom. But the location is good, close to tourist attractions.

As one of the older four-star brands in the region, I ended up staying at two of their hotels in Penang this trip – one in the city center and one in the Batu Ferringhi resort area (which I honestly hadn't planned on). The hotel itself is quite large, but due to its age, the cleanliness and room facilities are pretty average. The location, however, is excellent; it's not far from the old town and within walking distance. Perhaps because there are many Indian and local guests, the breakfast tends to offer more Indian-style dishes (curries). Overall, though, the service attitude of the front desk and breakfast staff was quite good.

The location is great, right across from the Blue House. However, the facilities are very old. You have to stand in the bathtub to shower, and it's incredibly slippery and dangerous. The duvet cover was just two sheets put together, which is ridiculous, and there are no power outlets by the bed. On the plus side, the staff are exceptionally friendly, from the doorman to the front desk and housekeeping, they were all very responsive and had excellent attitudes.

Very clean room, Great view , location is very good, 2nd floor for restaurant very good. Corner of hotel have several good restaurant cafe . Well maintain facility.

The view from the window is great, and the service attitude is also excellent. You can store your luggage for free upon arrival, and it's very close to the beach. The hotel room is also very spacious and clean. Overall, it was a great experience.

First of all, the room we were assigned to, was in the corridor where the wall painting was still fresh. So fresh that my son walked past and brushed his arm and left a paint trail on him. The paint smell was also horrible. Second, the bed mattress was way too firm and my husband back hurts just from laying on it. The duvet also came undone, with the inside of the duvet exposing ( there seems to be no secure buttons or seams to stop it from coming out, as shown in the attached photo). Third, the toothpaste felt like baking soda paste, so thick that it's difficult to rinse it out of the mouth. When we explained our problems to the front desk, they seem to just tell us that it is non-refundable, therefore there's not much they can do. I understand that but it should be directed to a manager that may be more willing to provide us with a solution. In conclusion, please avoid this hotel at all cost, for similar price you could select a much better and newer hotel in the area.

The environment is very quiet, and the room is nice. It's close to the mural street, with banks, convenience stores, and plenty of food options nearby. The hotel has many rooms and is quite large, and the room size is also good.

If you are a solo traveler, I highly recommend this hotel. It was conveniently located near all the street art, markets, museums etc. Penang Hill was a little far away but it was easy to just take grab. The hotel had a great view and I looked forward to opening up my curtains in the morning. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious too. Great value for money. I used the hotel gym as well as the pool.
