很棒的體驗，在鬧市區吃的東西可選擇範圍大，景點都在附近，基本10來分鐘走走就到了，就是空調聲音有點大，其他都很完美，吃到了心心念唸的貓山王榴蓮，後面看到黑刺盡然吃不下了，下次有機會再來吃。

Jen hotel is located at central and adjacent to 2 to 3 shopping malls which is great! the iconic Komtar with Top of Penang, various mini theme park, Aquarium etc all located conveniently. However, Komtar itself looks bit run down and some shops vacant. We booked the club suite so the view from the top floor is equally nice as komtar with food and wine. Overall, vr nice stay.

The room is overall good, but the TV is probably only 30 inches, so you can watch the program even if you watch it hard. The service is also very good. A deposit of rm200 was charged, but it was refunded without checking when checking out.

Expected more from 4 star and being part of Shangri La. Check-in was slow, had to wait til 4pm to get our room. Otherwise location was great.

Nothing to rave about given that it’s a 4 stars hotel, you get what you paid for. Facilities are visibly old from the pool, gym to the rooms it’s. Nothing to shout about, super basic. As for the service, staffs at the reception are very polite and pleasant, same goes for the housekeeping crew, always smiling warmly at guests. As for the men that are stationed outside the hotel, I’m not very certain what is their job exactly? Surely they aren’t security guards given that the guards are pretty obvious with their uniforms. I am assuming these men are stationed just outside the entrance to help guests load & unload their luggages? Or even open doors for cars? But no they stand there like statues with an air of reluctance, if the hotel is just paying for men to stand outside the entrance as an ornament then I think it’d be more cost effective to remove them since they are either not serving their purpose or they have no purpose at all rather than being an eyesore with their bouncer-like expressions. Just my 2 cents. Wouldn’t stay here in future.

The hotel is great, however, the walk to old town will require some distance still. Next to a mall which has a supermarket, and close to night food store. Penang is very warm when we visit.
