if you guys are looking for place that are really near to penang street art and padang kota, then Bishop Hotel is really the best to stay. it is so near to Georgetown main attraction as it is really walkable. staff is really friendly and check in process is really fast. required a deposit of rm100 and can be obtain back after check out. speaking of room, it’s not spacious enough, thin wall and no fridge. but it’s quite ok if just wanna hangout and chill. other than that, it was a really nice experience staying at this hotel. definitely would love to stay here again in the future.

The room was good, even without a window it didn't feel cramped. The space in the room was quite well arranged. The bed, bedsheets and towels were clean. The bathroom amenities were all in good condition. There was hot water, quality soap and shampoo available. The hotel staff were friendly. The location was good, convenient for walking around. On the day of the stay there was a food festival, very close by. This hotel has a 100 ringgit security deposit, which is returned upon check-out.

Overall a good experience in this hotel, especially the staff is very friendly.

The location is strategic and near to most of the places of attraction. The shortcomings are the toilet sometimes foul smelling and the room is not sound proof. The other guests walking down aisle is quite noisy.

Overall not bad for this price value.

Location is very strategic. Next time if I go to Penang, I'll definitely book here again. I went to Nasi Kandar Imigresen & Tea Kadai by walking only. Many viral places near this hotel so you don't need to worry about parking. Just park your car near the hotel & walk around. Staff is very friendly. Luckily, we can check in at 12pm instead of 3pm.

nice hotel n strategic location

This is a decant hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is convenient to the central area of Georgetown as well as to the Padang Kota

Perfect stay! Receptionist is very accommodative and friendly! The room is cosy and clean and quiet. Many eateries nearby. Convenient to walk to many of the tourist attractions. Highly recommended.

Check in experience is very bad, try to check in 11pm, no people at the counter, we have waited some time. No choice we have to go out and come back later. After came back ask us to wait until midnight then only can check in due to system problem, and we are so tired. Worst check in experience ever! But one of the good point, the cleanliness of the room is good.

The room is small, the walls too thin, at night cannot sleep due to noise, tv not working, lacking of kettle and hotel dont provide toiletries. Other than that the place is fine.

Clean room, nice shower, very good location. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Refill station for drinking water was available. Limited room space

All was good, except for the bathroom. The water speed is not good, very slow. I have to use the bidet to shower. Sink clogged. Cleanliness: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Amenities: 3/5 Location: 5/5
