It was a comfortable, family-run Ryokan style inn. There is free parking for those who drive. It is also walking distance from the train station. We arrived after dark and the staff told us there was no more dinner, so they recommended us a dinner place nearby.
For breakfast which was included, it was a full set and really delicious Japanese platter. We ate to our heart’s content. The onsen is located on the basement and the 4th floor, I like it specially for the rooftop onsen. The men and women onsen will swap at certain timings to allow each gender to enjoy the facilities at the rooftop. They give clear instructions on a piece of paper, and you just need to look at the colour of the cloth hanging outside the onsen. The hotel is located near the town centre, so you can walk around easily.

Small size onsen hotel, have to be careful to go to onsen, they change morning and evening daily for men and ladies without clear English sign
The rest is good experience, we requested to eat dinner in a special room (not in our own room)because we have 2 couples want to eat together, and they are very helpful to arrange for us

As expected of one of Japan's three best hot springs, the traditional rooms were so unique, the meals were plentiful, and the service was warm and attentive! The surrounding area is very convenient for exploring, and the owner even arranged for a pick-up and drop-off from the train station – thank you so much!
