We generally don’t use Best Western, tend to find them run down. We needed a hotel at the last minute for one night and selected this location based on Trip Advisor top rating. Glad we did. Love the building and room layout, very bright and cheerful. Staff was terrific. Great location, short walking distance to both monuments and restaurants. You definitely want to stay here.

We had a nice stay at the Best Western in Gettysburg while on a US History Tour. This is a very nice new hotel. Our room was comfortable, clean and well cared for. The breakfast buffet was good, but the best part was the view out the windows of the 3rd floor breakfast room. It overlooks a part of the battlefield, with large windows giving a great view. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the location was perfect for our tours in the area.

This hotel is at the quieter end of Steinwehr Avenue. it is a great location with a wonderful, friendly staff and clean rooms. Every employee acknowledged our presence whether passing in the corridor or leaving the hotel for the day. Although there is no daily housekeeping service, we were able to obtain clean towels by going to the front desk and were offered as many as we needed. A light bulb that needed changed in the bathroom was done within five minutes of our request. We will definitely be back.

Generous size room, nice king bed, good amenities. The breakfast was very good and has extended hours (6-10 AM). We used the small gym - good cardio equipment in good condition. Nice later checkout (noon) and they let us into the room early (1:30 for a 4:00 check-in time). The indoor pool is as you'd expect of an indoor pool - good for kids to play in and that's about it. Location is right across from the National Cemetery and close to the Park's visitor center while being relatively quiet compared to places in the center of town. Housekeeping is only every other day due to a staff shortage.

I’ve been to Gettysburg probably 26 times but never stayed here. Now I’ll never stay anywhere else. Comfort, service, location-this place has it all. The included breakfast on the 3rd floor overlooked the battlefield and sunrise. We could walk to the brewery, the Heritage Center, Dobbin House and several gift shops. The rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. Can’t wait to return next year.
