The hotel was extremely clean, friendly staff. Great location In the heart of Gettysburg. I would stay again and will stay again. Great Hotel. Only sad part no ghost

We stayed in the annex of the hotel - appeared to be recently updated. Clean, Quiet and Comfortable - a great location and value for the price. Would definitely stay here again.

We were very disappointed with the heat/AC temp control. The room was too hot all night long and we had trouble sleeping. Windows did not open. I found out on the last day from the main desk that the thermostats have motion control so if there is no movement, they don't work and go back to default,.....very inconvenient and bad for sleeping. They should let people know up front and have an override ability so responsible and eco minded people can be comfortable. Thanks

I would caution guests to avoid a room facing the square in the old part of the hotel. The road noise was unbearable all day and all night long with huge tractor trailers..loud cars..and loud motorcycles. Our sleep was interrupted often which is not my idea of a vacation. The bar is ok but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. The food was cold..the coffee was terrible..and the service was slow. I did have sympathy for the waitress who was alone..doing everything..and expecting.

This hotel's location is what makes it special. You can easily walk to all downtown sites, restaurants, and up to Cemetery Hill. Otherwise, it is average in the level of accommodations. The rooms are clean, but basic with no special character despite being in a historic hotel. The hotel caters to large bus tour groups which adds noise and congestion. Breakfast is not included and the one time we ate at the One Lincoln restaurant on site it was terrible. There is a Starbucks right next door. We stayed over the Gettysburg College graduation weekend and were surprised to see that the price of our room more than doubled that Friday night.

Perfect location next to the Majestic
Theater and Lincoln Diner and an easy walk to just about everything. Charming traditional ambiance but not run down. Clean. Comfortable rooms without wear. Be ready to pay extra for parking.
