Hotels Near Passeggiata lungomare Naxos in Giardini Naxos

I have been in this hotel for one week in July 2024. The check in was extremely fast and in few minutes we got the room. The room was large enough, very clean and with excellent air conditioning system. The personnel in the hotel at any level, from the reception to the restaurant, is very polite and collaborative. A special mention must be dedicated to the external part of the hotel, the swimming pool area and above all the beach. The hotel has very clean and very well maintained private beach. In few steps you are passing from the lobby to the beach. We spent an amazing week of holiday. Final positive point is that the hotel is two minutes walking distance from the bus terminal, that means it is extremely easy to get the bus to go to Taormina or Catania airport at very low cost. I will be for sure again in this hotel. Thank you very much

Before I came here, I saw comments that the money was stolen and the problem of non-sea-view rooms. I was very anxious. I was worried about whether to cancel the reservation and change to another hotel. After I checked in, I found the hotel was good! First of all, I did n’t have anything stolen, including jewelry and cosmetics placed on the outside. Secondly, this hotel is mountain side, so you ca n’t avoid seeing the mountains and the sea. No matter which room you stay in, there is no 360-degree sea view Room, balcony view can refer to the picture below, I think the view is very good; in the end, in fact, there is no saying that the Chinese are arranged in a room with a poor view, because my left side (closer to the mountain side is disadvantageous) Location) Two people live in Italy. I live in the United States with Americans on the right. I threw my pajamas on the sofa before going out, and when I came back, I saw that they were neatly stacked on the bed. Haha, I felt very intimate at once ~ If I come to Taormina next time, I will definitely choose this hotel ， Because it has an excellent location, you can walk down to the Love Island and up to the left to the main road of the town, and there are all delicious restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is really great. The hotel is located on the Taormina Mountain. When I went there, I happened to encounter the Chinese restaurant 3. I was very fortunate. It took only 7.8 minutes to walk from the Red Restaurant. The breakfast was good. It was very close to the viewing platform. It only takes 4 minutes

The Hotel Ipanema is a little dated, but in a way that added to the charm of a lovely week away. Rooms are well sized and kept thoroughly clean and well serviced. Lots of cupboard and drawer space and it was nice to have a proper room safe with a key and a mini fridge was nice to chill wine. All rooms face the same way which gives every balcony a side sea-view. Obviously, the higher floors (4th) have the better views. Christine on reception was fantastic in offering help and advice on local tourist questions and in sorting out a quite room for us (as per my pre-arrival request). We travelled with Jet2Holidays who are always exceptional with their communications and transfer arrangements on the day. We stayed on the half board option. Breakfast was a little limited in range compared to bigger hotels, but there were enough options for us to eat well before of day out. Typically I had bread, rolls, ham, boiled eggs, yoghurt, and fruit each day. Evening meals offered a choice of 4 starters (including salad, pasta, risotto, or soup); 3 main courses; and 4 desserts (2 cakes, fruit salad, and crème caramel). Service was quick and attentive every evening with food served at your table brought to you on serving dishes on tea trolley. A special mention for Vincenzo who looked after us so well. We did not use the roof top pool because the sea was so inviting at Isola Bella. Mario in the bar (who also served in the restaurant) was great entertainment. There is also a nice secluded outside area to sit and lounge or to have your pre-dinner drink or post-dinner coffee. Tourist tips: The local roads do not have pavements but the traffic is respectful of pedestrians and we felt totally safe walking the 40 mins to the centre of Letojanni and 1hr 20 mins to Giardini Naxas for two different days out (just walk towards oncoming traffic). We walked up into central Taormina twice, and used the cable car once (6 Euros) and bus once (1.90 Euros). Walking down from town is much easier but take care on the uneven steps. Great days out to Etna (excursion) and Castelmola (the ride by local bus was entertaining and the views spectacular). The Amphitheatre is a must to see and the local public gardens are worth a stroll. Best value local bars / cafes (Al Paladini – Café - Bellcafé Italia near Isola Bella zebra crossing) and Capriccio (in central Taormina). Finally, shop around – central Taormina itself is very expensive so eat and drink where the locals do.

I’ve got to say we were delightfully surprised by this hotel. We booked this place as it was nearby to where we booked our wedding. Travelling with my now husband and our nearly 2 year old. From the minute of walking through the doors we saw how truly nice and special this place was. We just booked a standard room, we were located on the ground floor and the room was a lot bigger than we expected. It was nice and peaceful even being so close to reception in room 112. It was clean, comfortable, well air conditioned. Was just what we needed. We had breakfast included in our price which was continental but had scrambled eggs, bacon, range of cheeses and meats including ricotta. Cereals, pasties and cakes all of the above was of a great standard. You could eat inside or out. The staff in the dining room are even better, gianluca, Gianfrano the waiters and the manager fabrizio. And a lovely lady with short dark hair was amazing with our son, They really made us feel welcome and special, they couldn’t do enough for us. So professional and friendly. We also spent an evening in the restaurant which the food was fantastic. Again great service here too! The beautiful garden and surroundings of the hotel are so picturesque. Nice big pool area including a kids pool. We also spent some time down by the beach bar which was relaxing and I have to mention how lovely the ladies down at the reception area of the beach/shop. Giulia and Maria, so lovely, friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was brilliant Adriano made us feel right at home, so friendly, welcoming and looked after our son if we needed milk warming up, no matter what time of day. The shuttle service from this hotel is fantastic, you pre book your shuttle up and down from Taormina. It’s free too! We loved Salvatore! He made us smile, he was lovely, helpful and genuine. We miss him already!! I have to say, the staff here are a real main reason we would want to come stay again. We live in Sheffield in England but my new husband is originally from Catania, we normally would stay with family but after this trip I know we will be back. Don’t waste any more money staying anywhere else, this hotel offers everything you want and need. Thank you for having us Hotel Caparena! See you again one day I’m sure! large room, plenty of space where we didn't feel cramped. large bath which was great. nice sheets and towels. a pleasant location right on the ocean. a bit noisy but not bad. friendly front desk. make sure you see all the sites you can -- Mt. Etna.

It was very nice and the decoration and Furniture was very antique and nice. The rooms were nice and had clean sheets and Two TV’s. The bathroom as well was very clean and nice although there was no toothbrush holder. Besides the rooms the Hotel had amazing breakfast service and very clean nice courtyards and a Poll and Scuba diving, They also have a Spa and restaurant. An Overall amazing Hotel, The only downside was the location being far from the City but with horrible Traffic inside the city it was nice to be a little bit away from the city center.

We needed a hotel room close to Catania’s airport because we had an early morning flight. I was reluctant to book at this hotel because it got horrible reviews. I took a chance and we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is reasonably priced, the rooms are clean and it’s really close to the airport! They have free shuttle service to and from the airport. We needed a 5am shuttle and they were right on time! We were scared to eat there after all the negative reviews, but the food and wine was great! They had a friendly staff and provided great personal service! We both had delicious pasta dishes and actually all the food looked good! The only negative was the look of the hotel outside. They clearly need to fix up the property on the outside, but I’d prefer a clean room and a good dinner! Don’t listen to all the bad reviews, this hotel is perfect for a one night stay before or after a flight!
