cozy hotspring facilities excellent view japanese breakfast with a large variety of food choices highly recommended if you drive in gifu and wanna visit gifu castle and see comorant fishing

Amazing hotel near Nagaragawa River! I really enjoyed the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast in the morning, on top of the open air bath.

The size is unexpectedly large, with 14 tatami mats in the entrance hall, and the toilets are separated into dry and wet areas to create three floors. Every detail from hanging paintings to tea is in place. The hot springs in the hotel are great. The open-air hot springs on the rooftop. While soaking, you can see Gifu Castle on the top of the mountain, facing the four and a half-century buildings in the distance. I must recommend it. It is really amazing [Love]

Japanese-style hot spring hotel, the hotel can book a room type that includes dinner. Since we stayed for two nights in a row, the hotel also made very personalized arrangements. The meals for the two nights were different. We experienced kaiseki cuisine and there are also hiking trails in the surrounding area.

The service is very good and the scenery is also good. It might be better to go in summer.

NO TATTOOS. Is the first sign you see when checking in. Perhaps if you have a small discrete tattoo, they will still permit you to use their hot-baths on site. Ideal for couples, seniors, less so for families with children. The beds were quite hard. The in-room food service was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. Both indoor and outdoor onsen was very nice, with the outdoor one having a nice view of Gifu Castle.

Overall feeling good. Yukata and slippers are also provided for children aged one year old. There is more than one elevator, so you can choose one closer to your room. The scenery outside the mountain view room is also great. With the tatami mat, you don’t have to worry about your child falling off the bed and getting hurt. The important thing is that it doesn’t matter whether it’s an indoor or open-air hot spring. You can all see Gifu Castle, which is very special!

The building is old, but it is clean and there are little touches of hospitality here and there. I was able to spend a relaxing time in a soothing space. The view from the open-air bath is wonderful, and the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of dishes, all of which are delicious. I would like to stay here again next year as a treat for myself.

Although it is located just 20 minutes by car from downtown Gifu, it is a scenic hotel located in a prime location among historic hotels along the Nagara River.The Japanese-style rooms are spacious and the Nagara River and cormorant fishing boats can be seen below.The top feature is an open-air bath with a view of Gifu Castle. Men and women take turns every day in the baths on the mountain side.The well-worn facilities and furniture have been carefully repaired and cleaned, creating a comfortable space.The front desk staff was surprisingly quick and responsive.If you visit the Mino region, please come again...

It was July 14th, expecting the end of the rainy season, but it was late and I was worried. The previous day's cormorant fishing was canceled due to heavy rain. On this day, the water was receding and clear, and the event went as planned, allowing us to enjoy cormorant fishing. Compared to before, the cormorant fishing is more polite and entertaining, and I am very satisfied with the cormorant fishing. Since I was sitting on the bow of the boat, I was able to watch the cormorant fishing scene in full view. During the waiting time, I was able to relax while eating dinner and getting drunk on delicious sake, and what surprised me was the toilet boat. The ship's toilet was equipped with a comfortable flush toilet next to it, so I was able to use it without any worries. I was very satisfied with the cormorant fishing experience, which was truly full of CS Mai India.

Good: View (both Nagara River and Gifu Castle could be seen from the room), close to Nagarabashi bus stop What bothered me: Perhaps because it was a Japanese-style room, there was dust on the table and other surfaces.

Relaxing in the hot springs while looking at Gifu Castle is wonderful!

Plans for onboard meals fail because they waste time. The food is not good. The view from the room is wonderful. The hot springs have good facilities. The room is also good. Parking is available within the hotel.
