Hunza Darbar Hotel

The hotel initially makes a good impression; Unfortunately the technical condition is not particularly good. The warm water is brown, the cold water is slightly brown, the electrics sometimes fail - but not a blackout in the network, but rather fuses that switch off. The team is making great efforts to remedy these shortcomings. This is a clear ray of hope.

I liked the hotel from the very beginning. Shortly after checking in, I went to the terrace on the top floor. I was enchanted by the views of the surrounding peaks and the valley with the town and the Baltit fort in the background. Even before late lunch, I managed to get acquainted with the hotel. Spacious interiors finished in wood, exemplary cleanliness and friendly staff everywhere. Maybe it will be renovated soon, but for me it had soul and I felt great here. The restaurant positively surprised with a multi-course buffet dinner. There was plenty to choose from. For dessert there were not only sweets but also a large selection of fruit. The staff efficiently made sure that nothing was missing. Moreover, during breakfast all the advantages of good cuisine and the same service were confirmed. The room was also spacious with a very large window and a beautiful view. The fully equipped bathroom perfectly complemented everything else. I will remember the morning view from the terrace upstairs, despite the bad weather. The hotel offers rooms in three different standards and three different prices.
