Eh si, mai lasciare il conosciuto per l’incognita. Per anni ho alloggiato al vecchio hotel Kalemi con grande soddisfazione, ma questa volta ho voluto provare l’Hotel Argjiro che avevo visto a suo tempo in ristrutturazione. Il palazzo, ex hotel Savoia, è molto bello e, nell’ampliamento-ristrutturazione, viene annessa anche la vecchia sede del banco di Napoli. Posizione favorevole ma camere invivibili. Avevo prenotato 3 stanze matrimoniali, ma avevano più o meno la superficie di una cella di convento. Abbiamo dovuto aprire, e con difficoltà, una valigia alla volta con l’impossibilità di accedere al frigo bar. Il bagno, poi, era un buco privo di accessori. La colazione … praticamente una pena. Lo sconsiglio vivamente. Il proprietario, a cui ho fatto le mie rimostranze, ha avuto un atteggiamento molto presuntuoso e ignorante. Il tutto per la “modica” cifra di 110,00€. In conclusione: stattene alla larga, c’è di meglio!

Very good location. Well kept, cosy and clean hotel. The staff was great. We were there during low season and was very well received and looked after. Nice breakfast, with lot's of choices.

A pleasant old style hotel, converted from an old palace. Our room was fairly small but quiet, comfortable and well appointed. Generally friendly helpful staff. Good generous breakfast. A good base to explore this interesting town.

Waren mit Reisegruppe dort. Sehr schönes Hotel. Stilvoll restauriert. Ein wirkliche Rarität in Albanien Gjirokaster ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Essen war sehr gut. Services hervorragend. Ein Hotel mit Stil durch und durch. Zimmer sehr sauber, Zimmer für Albanien etwas klein aber sehr praktisch und stilvoll eingerichtet

Hotel en el principio de la calle peatonal y principal de la ciudad, por tanto la ubicación es excelente, el personal amable y atento y cuenta con un salón para cenas y desayunos y barra de bar, las habitaciones cuentan con todo lo necesario pero el baño es muy pequeño y también deberían cuidar mas el estado del aire acondicionado sobre todo en las habitaciones de la planta superior de tipo abuhardillado. La decoración del hotel y el estilo del mismo es acorde con las características de la ciudad.

Situated in the old city centre just below the castle. It has perfect location to explore the city. Rooms are ok and nicely equipped. Breakfast is amazing and staff is very friendly.

Beautiful modern hotel in a lovely historic building only a few feet from the Old Bazaar. The double room is very spacious and my room offered a great view over the Ottoman-era rooftops of the town. Breakfast was included with my booking and it was amazing with a big selection of hot and cold food on offer. You'll love your stay here!

Está ubicado en el centro. El edificio tiene varias plantas, pero es inaccesible para sillas de ruedas. El personal de recepción es amable y eficiente. Tiene un ascensor, algo lento, lo que puede que sea insuficiente. Los pasillos están bien iluminados y las habitación bien identificadas. La habitación para uso individual tiene unos 20 m2. Tiene una mala distribución, resultando algo incómoda. Las dos camas eran de 0.9m y las almohadas eran cómodas. La insonorización no era buena, se oía el ruido interior. La iluminación era correcta y se podía dejar a oscuras. El mobiliario estaba en buen estado. La TV era de unas 28" y tenía numerosos canales, pero muchos no se veían. Había un equipo individual de aire acondicionado que se podía regular. El baño era muy pequeño e incómodo. Su iluminación era correcta. La grifería funcionaba correctamente y las toallas eran correctas. El desayuno no era correcto para esta categoría, pues era poco variado y con poca calidad. Hice cena en este hotel que fue decepcionante, pues la carne estaba más que pasada, seca y sin sabor. La wifi funcionaba bien y se podían conectar varios dispositivos. En resumen, un hotel con deficiencias que no recomiendo.
