Directly outside Charing Cross Station, standard Britannia Hotel no frills but always decent sized rooms, never tried bar/breakfast.
Dozens of bikes with delivery bag, cked to railings outside the Hotel isn't a nice visual

Very basic stay but not cheap. Room is big and the bed is pretty nice but carpet and table needs a refresh. Bathroom was pretty antiquated but adequate. It is a walk to city center but there are a bunch of clubs and restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. Subway stop is literally right next to the hotel.
