"Stayed here as I came for Glasgow coffee festival at The Bridgate. The hotel was a 5 minute walk away venue. 1 minute away from a Tesco, a Nando’s and a bunch of bars. Staff were accommodating, kind and instructed well. If ask them how to adjust aircon in your room, and don’t have the breakfast here. It’s not great making it terrible value for money. Food and coffee recommendations: Sylvan, Wilson street pastry, through the door."

"Great stay. Only down side I would say is that I booked the wrong day and tried to change the date but it wouldn’t allow me to. I then contacted customer service who reached out to the hotel. They didn’t response. So I had to make another booking. Not impressed with the hotels customer service"

"I really enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central. The hotel’s location is excellent — right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around on foot or by transport. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the overall experience very pleasant. One small area for improvement would be the in-room amenities. It would have been convenient to have items like a luggage scale or even a bathroom scale available, which are often handy for travelers. Overall, the combination of great location, professional staff, and comfortable facilities makes this a solid choice for a stay in Glasgow."

"Cannot fault this Hotel the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and know their job inside out special mention for Morven who goes above and beyond a staff member that the Hotel should be proud to have on their payroll. Rooms lovely, fresh and very clean. Food and drink available 24 hours. Location is great. Metres from the bus station, loads of shops on the doorstep a cinema complex and a concert hall right across the road and I found 3 Italian restaurants within 400 metres radius. Taxi to the Hydro a mere £8.00 and was outside the Hotel seconds from ordering. Stayed in many Hotels in Glasgow why I never picked this one before I will never know but it will be my go too Glasgow Hotel from now on"

"I had an EXTREMELY WONDERFUL stay at the Spires Serviced Apartment in Glasgow, the flat itself I am calling a penthouse, with open view windows from its open kitchen to lounge area to overlook the city of Glasgow, and the bed is super comfortable. All well quipped flat with all the things you need, including laundry/drying machine and dish washer (both detergents provided), even the cheese board is prepared!!!!!!! Staff is super friendly and professional, I had a little check-in contingency as the key wasn’t working and it was 6ish pm, the staff was on holiday but still came all the way within half an hour to help me change the key! Super impressive! She greets everyone at reception all the time with a big smile!!!!! Excellent stay experience I have ever had in Glasgow!!!!!!! Love it so much!!!!!"

"Nice little hotel walking distance to the heart of Glasgow. Room super small can only fit 1pax. With a medium luggage & a backpack on the floor, not much room to walk. Good for 1/2 nights just for sleep/rest. Nice to have charging ports just next to bed. No table to put things at all. Bathroom very small even for a small Asian woman like me. I keep hitting myself while showering 😅. Serve very basic purpose hotel. Can be quite noisy at the corridor just outside room as sound insulation not the best."

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Staff were friendly and always ready to help, making me feel truly welcome throughout my stay. "Pretty good! I was travelling with my mom and daughter. A taxi ride only cost us a few pounds to get there. We had originally planned to walk from Central Station, but it was raining that day, so we took a cab instead. I was very pleased the front desk arranged a connecting room for us. Afterwards, I went by foot and public transport to the Epilepsy Centre in Glasgow."
