An outstanding hotel! From the decor, to the staff, and the food, this hotel was beautiful. Highly recommend for a comfortable and high end stay for a gift.

Really enjoyed my stay here! Perfect location as it's right next to a train station and only about a 15-20 min walk from the central area. Checking in was smooth and the staff were super friendly. Loved the complimentary cocktail! Also loved that they serve pizzas until 1 AM!! Room was pretty small but clean and had everything you needed. I also appreciated the ironing room. Only small disappointment was the bed wasn't very comfy. The mattress wasn't my preffered and it had maybe a plastic mattress protector which was a little noisy when rolling over and didn't add any softness or comfort. However, I would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again if I ever find myself in Glasgow.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and car parking just down the road was no trouble for us at all. The room was spacious and modern. The breakfast was delicious and we would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and one of the highlights of my visit was the stunning river view. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by how clean and comfortable everything felt, but the real standout was the scenery. My room overlooked the river, and waking up to the calm water and soft morning light was incredibly relaxing. In the evening, the view became even more beautiful, with reflections of the sunset creating a peaceful atmosphere. It made the whole stay feel more special and memorable. The room itself was well-maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with large windows that made the most of the view. I also appreciated how quiet it was—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the overall service added to the positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay with a beautiful river view.

Excellent facilities and near all local amenities making this a great location for any type of traveller due to its location.

The room was super spacious, and they even had a free washer and dryer. However, there seemed to be a bar downstairs, and the music played until 4 AM. It might be okay for heavy sleepers, but light sleepers should probably consider other options.

Stayed in better budget hotels. Room window looking directly onto building approx 20ft away restricting daylight. Room direct above 24/7 air conditioning units. Not even a small bottle of water provided in room! Still waiting in return of card deposit!

Spotlessly clean with everything provided for a comfortable stay. A bit away from the centre which meant it was quiet but quite a walk to the centre. Would certainly stay again. Breakfast Saturday was really good, piping hot with plenty of choice. Sunday morning Breakfast was nearly cold and bacon and sausage dry and over cooked. Same time so no excuse. We did let them know at the time

Staff great parking convenient executive lounge was very busy and staff tried their best to keep up with demand. On the whole a pleasant stay.
