Glasgow Hotels with Wifi

"Doubletree by Hilton is quite a good stay in Glasgow, it’s only a few minutes walk from either of the train stations or coach station, and the entire aesthetic of the hotel is nice. Amenities were a bit lacking tho, no slippers, or toiletries like toothbrush, tooth paste, etc. I asked for cotton buds at one point but never received them. Besides that tho, would recommend! The gym and swimming pool are nice too, and breakfast buffet is also a big plus!"

"Excellent hotel. 1. Clean, comfortable, and odorless; 2. The bed was comfortable but a bit short; 3. Good water pressure in the bathroom; 4. The heating was very warm; 5. Great value for money! Highly recommend everyone to book!"

"The hotel was lovely, I was a bit put off by the reception staff who spoke to me via computer screens. They never looked at me when asking questions I personally feel this is rude. However they were able to store bags for us until we could check in. The pool is lovely not overly big and there was lessons going on but for a quick dip it’s fine. The hot tub is tiny even with 3 adults in it we were touching knees so that felt a-bit awkward sharing with strangers. Gym was fantastic. Was very impressed  Room was lovely very spacious we had a twin room first time I slept in a single bed since a child so not overly comfortable. Bathroom clean and massive bath which was great, our room did not have a window that could be opened but a fan was placed in our room, it didn’t work but after notifying cleaning staff they quickly replaced it.  Breakfast was good just what you would expect. From a buffet breakfast and we were seated very quickly both mornings. There was water machines on our floor and reception which we used regularly and we appreciated that touch.  Over all it was a good and I would stay again. The red and yellow hop on hope off bus stop is just around the corner also so handy if wanting to sightsee."

"The hotel was perfect from the friendly reception staff on arrival to the breakfast the following morning. The room was immaculate, not new and sparkly, but tastefully decorated with quality well maintained equipment, fittings and furnishings. All the basics, bed, shower, toilet and basin worked and performed superbly. Bedding, covers, sheets and pillows were pristine, crisp, and the mattress was exceedingly comfortable. Plenty of hanging space, iron and board, hairdryer and fridge. Spotlessly clean. Service for breakfast was unusually efficient for a large hotel. They knew exactly how to cope with a busy breakfast service. Buffet for drinks and cold items, service for Cooked. The full scottish breakfast kept me going all day. Will definitely return to this hotel."

"The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and very helpful as we got a twin room instead of a double. This was fixed as soon as housekeeping started and again super friendly and prompt. How ever the room it self was cold during the night. Bed a was not the must comfy once."

"1. The hotel lobby and public areas are converted from an old building, while the rooms are located in a new building at the back. The two buildings are connected, and the renovation has a lot of character, but getting from the lobby to the room by elevator is a bit roundabout. 2. The hotel breakfast is quite rich, and the quality is good. The staff's attitude is also very pleasant. 3. When I booked the room, I requested a quiet room away from the elevator. The front desk gave us a room at the end of the hall... The room size was decent, but the air conditioning wasn't heating up. The wind in Granada is strong, and the weather was very cold. It's hard to imagine how it feels to return to an icy cold room at night... We checked the hotel's past reviews on Trip.com and found similar comments from other guests, so we have reason to suspect the hotel treats Chinese tourists differently. 4. We called the front desk to request a room change, but they said there were no rooms available that day and offered to send someone to check the air conditioning. We waited for a long time, but no one came, so we contacted Trip.com customer service for help. Trip.com was very proactive in negotiating with the hotel for us. We insisted on changing rooms, but since it was Valentine's Day, the hotel genuinely had no vacant rooms, so they could only provide us with a heater. In the end, we decided to make do for one night and change rooms the next day. 5. The next day, we packed our luggage, and when we returned in the evening, the hotel had changed our room. The new room was larger than the original, and the air conditioning was warm. Throughout the entire process, Trip.com actively communicated and tracked the room change, helping Chinese nationals abroad resolve their issues. I'd like to give a thumbs up to Trip.com customer service! 👍"

"Have stayed at this place a few times now over many years. Great location, staff friendly. However comparing it to our other visits to (The Ponds) Leonardo we had a few niggles. Most of these concerned the bathroom. Firstly, when turning tap towards cold, the water came out like an explosion. We can only assume that it was some sort of air lock. The bathroom was very tired looking. The ceiling looked awful, like mould and the seal around the bath needed redoing. Lots of black mould, due to no ventilation. We knew beforehand there was no air-con, however the temperature was unbelievably hot. One of the lifts was out of order for all of our stay. The other lift was incredibly slow when called."

"Good location with plenty of nearby restaurants. Clean place with a good heater. The only issue is that there was no toilet tissue, and I informed the front door man, but he said the housekeeper had already put some in when I went out. So I checked again and took a photo to prove it. It seems he thinks I am lying."

"Great hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all so helpful: from the restaurant to the cleaning staff all friendly and helpful. The manager was very helpful. Local area has lots of bars and restaurants. Definitely recommended."
