We recently had our wedding at the Crutherland hotel. Rebecca Pring who was our wedding coordinator was amazing from start to finish. She was so organised, always on the ball and super friendly. The morning of the wedding Rebecca checked up on us regularly, always there when you needed her. Throughout the day Rebecca and the staff ran everything like clockwork. We could not fault it. We recommend anyone booking a wedding at the Crutherland. The venue is lovely and has lots of opportunities for photos.

Not usually one to write reviews, however numerous negative points during our stay. room was dirty (mostly bathroom) We ordered food when we arrived and was terrible and undercooked (extremely expensive too) Breakfast probably one of the worst I’ve ever had! Lady on reception was the only good thing about stay, she was really friendly and lovely.

Check in was quick but first room was so far away we couldn’t connect to Wi-Fi or get a decent signal. Got moved to a different room and it had no robes ,slipper,it towels, had to phone and get them delivered. Also tv remote didn’t work.

Would not go again. Stayed for 2 nights on my own (close to by where I worked) Went to have a,meal in the bar knowbody there to serve you waited half hour! Pitsa chips I had under cooked chips. Breakfast buffet look warm. Evening meal next night over priced. Restaurant no atmosphere. Hotel smelt funny! Raised all night all I could hear was leaking gutter

Returned today after a one night spa break. Hotel is tired and requires updating. Pool and leisure area needs a revamp. Best bit about the stay was the food, couldn’t fault this but in terms of overall hotel needs major investment and a good deep clean all over

Booked a last minute break for over the Christmas period. Loved every minute of my stay. Staff were lovely, welcoming and friendly and found time for short chats with this solo traveller.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and prompt in addressing any specific dietary requirements. Well done team. Bar menu was limited but food freshly made.
The gym, pool, sauna etc were open to guests on Christmas Day, this is not the norm at other hotels I’ve stayed at over Christmas.
Very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Very disappointed on our one night stay The room was freezing and the bar was left unattended every time we went up for a drink 10 to fifteen min at a time definitely not worth the £177 this included a £30 each for dinner the had to pay extra £29 would not visit again

Stayed here over Easter break. The kids were given Easter eggs which was a lovely touch and they very much enjoyed the swimming pool facilities. Pool was lovely and warm. Restaurant food was nice too. We also got to see the function hall as we chatted to the wedding co-ordinater, it was set all set up beautifully. Will return in the future.
