I particularly like it. It's very kind and friendly. It's just three minutes away from the train station. You don't have to worry about it raining. It's clean and tidy. There are (very sweet) desserts to eat. I feel happy when I wake up and drink coffee in the morning. I renewed it for two nights.

Wonderful place! Clean, friendly, excellent location (the neighborhood is slightly grungy, but you can't hear the street or train station noise much from the hotel on the 6th floor) and superb wi-fi.

The “hotel” is located on the 6th floor of a regular residential building. No one answers the intercom. Sketchy neighborhood. All employees wear jeans/ t-shirts. Chefs couldn’t keep up with breakfast, which was expensive. Room was clean but small. Common hallway was always noisy, including employees talking/yelling to each other. The rest of the building smells like dirty socks. Common food left on table in the hallway 24/7 containing “gluten free” snacks. We felt like we were in a hostel. If the women from the “Magic Garden” show ran a hotel, this would be it. Do yourself a favor and stay at a chain hotel for the same price.

Don't be put off by the ground floor entrance lobby just press floor six in the lift and Grasshoppers open's up as a spacious, calm, modern and welcoming hotel right in the middle of Glasgow. Rooms are well equipped clean and comfortable with views out across Central Station and there nice touches to add to your stay here with a steady supply of flavored ice cream and a table of delicious cakes. A communal rest room provides a pleasant space in which to relax and meet other guests and whilst the dining area is rather small breakfast can be a bit frenetic but fun. Staff were always helpful and pleasant to deal with. First visit to Glasgow but should I return Grasshoppers is the hotel I will be staying at.
