Imaginative, huge and stylish foyer. Loooooooooong check-in queues. Attentive, patient and friendly receptionists. Nice, modern, clean, stylish rooms BUT FAAAAAAAAAAAAAR too small with excessive bulky furniture, lack of hanging space and no room for suitcases, which made manoeuvring round the room very difficult. The bathroom smelled of drains and the bed vibrated every few minutes (NO idea what caused this - the underground, perhaps?....but we were on the 10th floor). Black-out curtains. Comfy beds and, for once, perfectly soft comfy pillows. Not enough coffee in the room. Okay for a night but not for someone on a long trip with lots of luggage. Good wifi but noisy in foyer.

Really pleased with our choice. 7th floor(top) so being opposite Glasgow Central Station was not a problem. The trains were a quiet hum and no problem at all, at this height. Right in the centre of Glasgow , walking distance to George Square etc. Hop on Hop off bus stop a few yards from our entrance. The accommodation was clean fresh and spacious. Very comfortable. Service was great- we had an issue with a curtain that was off the rail and it was fixed immediately. Secure parking underground. We didn't use the car for 3 days while we were there, but secure parking was essential for us, and access to all those things you forget to take in!

Dreadful experience and nothing at all like what was shown in the pictures. Not a cushion, picture or ornament in sight. Not even a rug on the cheap laminate floor. Grubby stairwell leading to apar**ent. Dirty windows. Very basic, cheap furniture and fittings. Noisy dodgy pub across the road. Was not happy at my ID being photographed or a 100 pounds damage deposit being taken. One door was all chipped and scuffed at the bottom, as was one of the kitchen unit bases. Horrid experience. Would not recommend and would not stay again. Total waste of 133 pounds plus 25 NCP filthy car park experience.

Booked online using American Express as there was an American Express icon on the website. When we arrived they said the didn’t take American Express, they hadn’t taken any money and I needed to pay by another method, so a word of warning to make sure you have the means to pay if you booked with American Express. Apar**ent was great though, very spacious and homely.

Stayed overnight at the weekend with friends as attended an event at the Hydro. Apar**ent itself was lovely. Fire alarm was going off on the corridor of the apar**ent block, tried calling the “out of hours number” we were given on numerous occasions it would continuously ring out then an automated would say the number dialled is not recognised, there was no staff which was concerning as people were evacuated in the freezing cold. We had to take it upon ourselves to call emergency services, they came out and we got back in to our apar**ent at 1.30am. Luckily there was no fire but very concerning that no staff were around to deal with it. Rooms: Spacious, en-suite in one room and main bathroom. Comfortable beds. Safety: The fire alarm going off on the middle of the night was concerning as there were no staff to deal with this resulting in us having to call emergency services ourselves. Walkability: Right in the heart of the city centre

This was hands down the WORST accommodation I have ever stayed in. I travelled from Ireland with a young family to have a weekend away and as a family we did not sleep at all. There was a party all night and ***** being sold outside our door. The ‘out of hours’ phone number did not pick up so I rang the police who shut the party down. After they left the party started up again and was ongoing til the 11am check out the next day. When I went to speak to reception the next morning the abuse that I got off the lady was nothing short of horrific. Would NOT recommend.

Great stay at StayMetro in Glasgow. We actually stayed two separate times during the same week, on either side of a sidetrip to the coast. We wanted a spot close to the train station, as well as close to shopping and eating options. This place is close to all of it. A 10 minute walk to Buchanan Street, and right close to Argyle. Honestly our first impression of the area the hotel is in wasn't great.... but it was rainy and gloomy at the time lol. The area is very safe and busy during the day. The room is VERY spacious. Two big beds, a nice sitting area, and a full kitchen (our dishwasher was out of order, but we wouldn't have used it anyway). The only issue, did not affect us but may affect others, is the fact that concierge desk is only open during daytime hours. For anyone out late that may forget a card, or have any other issues.....this could be a concern. Other than that though, the stay was great. Thank you. Would stay again.

My 3 friends and I stayed here for a night as we had a concert. It is quite close to everything, we walked from the Ovo hydro and I'd say it takes 20-30 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Everything was clean and tidy. The rooms are decorated nicely and the kitchen has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again

The cheapest deal we could find in Glasgow, apar**ent was okay. I later decided to buy everyone takeaways and I took my 3 year old son down to collect with me, when the lock door automatically shut as soon as we revieved the takeaway a very dodgy looking man tried to speed into to entrance and open the door, he then looked at me in the eye and put his hood up and shot off. I dread to think what would have happened if the lock doors didn't shut instantly, so please be careful if you take young children here. Again in the morning their was no receptionist to tell this information too, did not feel safe and definitely won't be back. I'd pay hundreds more for a hotel in a safe Location without feeling like my children are in danger.
