Management/owner is beyond rude. This hotel gave a room I had paid for to somebody else before I checked in, then tried to blame me for bringing extra people! I booked three rooms, 4 months in advance. I called the week before to cancel one room and check ok for a late check in, after 10pm, due to a long distance drive after work. Was assured this was fine, paid for a double room and a family room, for 4 people. On arriving discovered the double room had been given to someone else! Manager was completely rude and unprofessional over the phone and did not apologise once he realised it was the hotels fault. Luckily there was a single room free which I had to take and my children took the family room. I was assured by reception that there would be a refund. I was moved to the room I should have had the night after but no refund has been received and emails have been ignored. I would not recommend this hotel and friends in Glasgow warned me this hotel did not have a good reputation. Basic level hotel is fine but they are double booking rooms and owner is incredibly rude and ignorant.
