The hotel had the old charm feel to it. Bed very comfortable and a fantastic shower.

Loved staying here Easter weekend was very special

Location is great, very central and easy to get all around to lots of things in Hobart. We stayed for 4 nights. Unfortunately there were renovations happening during our visit and they didn’t tell us this until we arrived. And while most of the noise was during 9-4 hours we did lose power one morning 2 of our lamps and had no water on another (they did warn us about the water). Bathroom was a bit tired and the water pressure was basically non existent. Had to wait ages for the hot water to come through and then it was very dribbley. It was ok we dealt with it (assumed it was due to renovations or just the fact it was old) however it was a total pain for me trying to wash my long hair. The actual bedroom is super dark - no main light just 2 bed lamps and 2 floor lamps. We were not in the room that much so it was ok, however if your planned to relax and read etc it is pretty dark. We didn’t try the breakfast (29 per person) because we knew there would be cheaper options close by (and there were some great cafes not far and heaps cheaper!!). We also didn’t get a chance to try the hadleys cocktail bar. It says it’s open each night from 4-10 but during our stay we only saw it open once. Staff were friendly and their customer service was great. And to be the honest it was an ok place to stay, however i just think if you are looking for a central place I’m sure there are much better and cheaper options around and we wouldn’t stay here again in the future.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Hadley and both times have been lovely. The staff have been wonderful and even mailed our jackets back to us that we left there. So handy being so close to the city centre and Salamanca Place. We highly recommend staying here.

The Hadley's Orient was great for us as we love the historic ambience, furnishings, and vibe in every area of the hotel. Not so suited perhaps for younger folk used to very large bathrooms and the like, as the rooms aren't massive. Super comfortable though and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Awesome cocktail bar. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful hotel, charming old world feel to it. Wonderful & helpful staff, made you feel very welcome. Dinner & breakfast were both excellent. The room was comfortable & the bed was great with pillow options which made for a good nights sleep. Location is good, close to everything you need.
