The cloakroom and bathroom are connected, which is very convenient for storing suitcases. The mini bar is very rich, with all kinds of cups prepared, showing the details and care of the hotel. Each room has a corresponding book and historical introduction, which is very special. The restaurant's dishes and services are excellent."

"It is a charming little pub stay. You have to be super self sufficient when dealing poor WiFi and breakfast. Customer service is bare minimum. The pub definitely has the potential to up-sale other services to customers, such as offering discounted meal vouchers. Frankly, it is suitable to for people preferring “glamour camping”, single traveller, and economical couple trips. The site can be noisy from the main road.and loud oub customers evenings."

"The location is absolutely superb. It's within walking distance of the city center pedestrian street, and many popular restaurants are easily accessible on foot. There's a supermarket right next to the hotel, and an Asian supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel's breakfast is a buffet with an à la carte option. It's typical 'Western' breakfast fare, with not a huge selection, but the taste is decent. The room itself is quite spacious and comfortable. Overall, it offers good value for money."

Whether, like me, you are looking for some solitude to recharge the old batteries, or a couple looking for a magical place to connect and unwind, or you're planning a big event (as a wedding venue it would be such fun!), I can not speak more highly of Villa Howden. A quirky, classy, special little piece of paradise."

"From the moment I arrived, everything about the hotel made me feel welcome, comfortable, and well-organized. The location is superb, right on the waterfront, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy the beautiful harbor views. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with large windows offering fantastic views. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of walking around Hobart. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere struck a great balance between professional and hospitable. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom in my room didn't have a showerhead, which made showering a bit inconvenient. It would be even better if this could be improved."
