This little inn is in a beautiful village with lots of historical buildings including this one
Generally speaking it was above average inn
The only problem was the room I had had a very noisy fridge that I was unable to switch off which woke me every 2 hours so be warned
The restaurant was lovely and the food good value for money a s the staff were polite and helpful

We visited for two nights and couldn't fault either the accommodation or the food. The room (Cambridge Suite) was spacious and spotlessly clean, possibly a little 'light' on utensils etc if you're planning to self cater, but that's being little critical. The restaurant was rammed (Tuesday evening) and the food was good, a nice piece of Hake and a good portion of belly pork, along with accompanying veg and sauces. The staff were all attentive and friendly, as were the (I presume) locals in the bar. Would definitely recommend.

23 of us sat down for a meal here at the Bell Inn. The service was outstanding as was the food. Serving a group of this size is no easy matter, but here as always it was first class. Hot meals with a nice selection of sides, quick service all round. Well done.

Beautifully maintained pub and inn, east to reach from nearby motorway, friendly staff, lovely well-appointed room. Wish breakfast was included, as there are no nearby options.

Rooms in hotel are lovely and comfortable and self catering facilities are in room which is great. Rooms are clean and homely. Now for the bad! I paid 600 pounds for 5 nights accommodation on condition it included breakfast and no breakfast was provided. The food in the restaurant in the evening was very good however it very expensive with the cheapest item being 16 pounds. The noise during the night is dreadful round 2am in morning from windows not being secured tight in rooms and water pipes. The wood on all windows is rotting away. Such a shame for a beautiful place.

Great suite with fridge. Double bed too small for us, but it was only for 1 night. Good food in the restaurant, they dot do breakfasts, but there are places nearby you can go. Beautiful area.

Lovely part of the world locals very friendly. Food ok but v pricey. Was expecting bed & breakfast but breakfast non existent. Room tiny but nicely furnished and was ok as only there for a night.
