"We visited for two nights and couldn't fault either the accommodation or the food. The room (Cambridge Suite) was spacious and spotlessly clean, possibly a little 'light' on utensils etc if you're planning to self cater, but that's being little critical. The restaurant was rammed (Tuesday evening) and the food was good, a nice piece of Hake and a good portion of belly pork, along with accompanying veg and sauces. The staff were all attentive and friendly, as were the (I presume) locals in the bar. Would definitely recommend. "

"Lovely room and powerful shower. The breakfast is 24/7 for toast, cereal and yoghurt. Helpful after yourself. I wasn’t sent the pin to the accommodation but the lady on the phone was very helpful. The WiFi kept kicking me off and I wish the place was cleaner."

"This used to be my local before I moved away, but I heard they are under new management and/ or a new chef. Went in today for breakfast and all I can say is WOW. I think this is possibly the best breakfast I've eaten out. They use Browns butchers meat and the chef does it justice. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. Great service, all coffees were the same price which is a nice touch and a big well done to the chef! Obviously puts in a lot of effort and has skills. The place deserves a big increase in numbers if the standards stay the same."
