Hotel Indigo Gloucester - The Forum by IHG ★★★★
"I stayed here for two nights as a transit city. The hotel was very new, and everything was perfect except for the slightly soft bed. It was cleaned daily. Breakfast, consisting of hot dishes, was ordered separately, but was quite refined and tasty. There's a large, multi-level indoor parking lot next to the hotel, and the fees are reasonable. Bus and train stations are also nearby, making it convenient for day trips to surrounding cities."
Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel service was excellent, but our room, though on the first floor, only had a small window facing the fire escape alley. There was no air conditioning, and the temperature difference between day and night was huge; otherwise, it would have been unbearably hot. However, the hotel was always packed with guests, which piqued my curiosity. The service was truly excellent. The only downside was that the description said the building was halfway up a mountain, and it really was in the middle of the mountain. Unfortunately, we couldn't see anything, which was a real shame. The photos I uploaded show the only view I saw. However, getting to each place took about 40 minutes to an hour by car, which, considering the heat..."
Cbh Hatherley Manor Hotel ★★★★
"Excellent, great spa facilities and staff excellent. Would return."
Holiday Inn GLOUCESTER - CHELTENHAM by IHG ★★★★
"a little outta way if no car but overall good experience!"
Premier Inn Gloucester (Longford) ★★★
"Good location. Staff were very helpful. Room was average. However the restaurant and bar areas were very dated and in a bad condition. The chairs were ripped and dirty. Stains on the carpets. Definitely would not go again."
New County Hotel ★★★
"The location is very convenient, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again!"
The New Inn by Roomsbooked ★★★
"Good location, room was clean, lovely staff. But place is a bit tired, wifi doesn't work in the room. Good price if you just need a bed!"
Cheltenham Chase Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"We enjoyed our stay my granddaughter loved the bed and pillow. The only let down was the swimming pool, the water looked a bit murky and I could feel hair getting into my fingers when I swam. Besides that it was good slightly on the expensive side."
City Centre Guest House ★★★
"The room is very small, with only a simple single bed. There are no facilities in the room, and a shabby small TV."

"What3Words: ///nicely.obey.woods We stayed here for one night and had a lovely time. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional from the moment . The accommodation is clean, quirky, unique, and set in a peaceful location, making it the perfect place to relax. Everyone we met was welcoming, the views were beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent. It has a lovely atmosphere. I would 100% recommend staying here if you're looking for something a little different. It's a fabulous place and an experience we'll definitely remember…"
Edward Hotel
"Good location if you have a vehicle and there's free parking behind the property. Hosts very helpful My room had separate entrance from garden which was nice. There's a breakfast area and access to tea coffee supplies. Fresh towels if you want. Gloucester cathedral not far. Buses nearby."
The Thatch Inn
"The staff the facilities were exceptional I had a wonderful relaxing time with my stay would definitely stay again and recommend aswell"
The Mooring Post
The Bell Inn
"My wife and I needed overnight accommodation in the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation & facilities. Booking was easy on line and reception friendly, albeit we chose steak night and the restaurant was busy. Although we had not reserved, we were shown to a table and had an excellent meal. Our chosen room had an additional entrance from the rear so we did not have to go through the bar with luggage. We are able to climb stairs so upstairs was not a problem. Breakfast is not currently available so we went to the Stables nearby. 3mins by car. Highly recommended."
The Judges Lodgings Boutique Hotel
Saul Farm
"This place fully warrants the reviews as unconventional it may be, in so much as you are located outside the main building up exterior stairs and the bathroom is down internal stairs. The jacuzzi is also located in the bathroom and we enjoyed it on more than one occasion over the weekend. Bindy was the perfect host, friendly but not obtrusive, and served up a wonderful full English breakfast complete with toast, cereal and fruit. Coffee maker in room was appreciated and whilst the tv was modest in size and channels the location is much more attractive. Would recommend 100% and can see us returning here too."
