Sehr schönes Hotel, tolles Frühstück und sehr freundliches Personal

Unfortunately, our holiday after Christmas was marred by a terrible suite. It was in the basement and is the last one for a room of this category. The street runs about 1 meter in front of the suite at eye level, so it was loud in the room, so that you felt like cars, buses or trucks were driving right through the "suit" room. When you looked out of the suite you looked directly at a sloping concrete wall and directly at the road surface. The staff were more or less keen to solve the problem. A broken door was only repaired on the second day after several complaints, and it took less than a minute for a technician to repair it, so why we had to wait so long is a moot point. Overall, the service left a lot to be desired. The water in the pool was cold and therefore not suitable for children. Breakfast in the morning cost a whopping €35, but you got a breakfast that was OK, but for that price you would expect a "first class" breakfast. After this disappointment, we will most likely not be guests of this hotel again. We expected more from a hotel in the Mariott group, especially in this room category we have never experienced anything like it.

Super nice hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast.

The hotel is new and very nicely decorated. The rooms are very nice - large and clean. The location is great. The service is not well trained, however. The spa area is too small for the large hotel. The pool is too cold. The cost of the underground car park should have been communicated at the start of the stay.

We had an all-round lovely stay at Caro & Selig. The room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean (the only thing that might take a little getting used to is the open bathroom). The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout. We also found the breakfast to be very good. The spa area is small but nice. The only minor criticisms we have are the very cold pool (especially for the time of year) and the difficulty in regulating the temperature in the room. All in all, we would come back.

Beautifully furnished, bright rooms with high quality Hotel in a good location, restaurants and cafes within walking distance Gym is small and has a limited selection of equipment, but of high quality - Service poor / Cleanliness extremely questionable: Staff member (who spoke neither German nor English well) apparently goes to the toilet in our room, which has not been cleaned / Coffee cups are rinsed out with a finger in the sink / Shoe print in the shower / Dirty towel / Tray with smelly food leftovers from the neighboring room are not removed within 24 hours, we had to ask here first, although staff walked past several times / Dirty towel - Mattress very hard - Underground car park for 24 euros and breakfast for 35 euros (per person) per day (parking options nearby cost 5 euros per day) - SPA area: Saunas very small / Not enough loungers / Extremely loud due to large number of children playing / Children in sauna and steam bath (some of whom also knocked on the window), although access is only possible from 16 years / Staff do not feel responsible / No towels in the SPA area (probably due to of difficulties with cleaning company)
