"The hotel is easy to find and there is free car parking available, although it did take a couple of attempts to find the entrance to the car park. The staff and owners are lovely and speak good English. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. The restaurant serves very good food at a reasonable price."

"This hotel is known for its value for money around Lake Tegensee. Rooms are well-equipped with bathrobes, slippers, and quality toiletries. While the corner rooms offer parking views, they are well-insulated. The breakfast is a highlight, with honeycomb and à la carte options – a rarity in Germany. The wellness center's sauna and fitness area are well-maintained, but the swimming pool is limited in size. The staff are attentive, and early check-in arrangements are handled well. If your budget allows, a lake-view room is recommended to compensate for the lack of a lakeside location."

"What a lovely hotel and so well run. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though they changed shifts every couple of days, as it’s a small hotel they knew us and had a table reserved at breakfast for us. The room we had was large, the mezzanine floor really good to help give a divide between sleeping and relaxing lounge areas. The beds were really comfy, the shower great. Everything was kept clean and cleaned whilst we had breakfast most days. Having a fridge was handy, and if the weather had been warmer the terrace would have been useful too. As it was a big rainy and cool the heated floor was a real bonus, so I expect it would be lovely and cosy in winter. We could swim in the lake from directly opposite the hotel and I expect rooms on the front had great lake views. The food was good, extensive cocktail menu, and the bar area was cosy. It’s only a short walk to the railway station and the free Guest Card was really great for catching (free) buses round the lake, especially to the Wallberg cable car. We used the ferry too, but that is more expensive. Would definitely return here."

"The hotel was in a beautiful setting. The views were amazing. The rooms were clean and very neat. The breakfast was lovely and News Day the dining room was decorated and a wonderful cake was served. The coffee and afternoon cake was outstanding. The hotel is not one for people who want to be in town. There is a lovely restaurant and bar 5 mins walk from the hotel. Perfect. The thing thay made our stay was the people. Breakfast served with a smile and the reception desk so knowledge about the local area and always willing to help. Thank you to everyone for a family run feel and welcoming stay."
