One of the best places to stay while at Kicking Horse. Literally walk out the ski lockers onto the gondola.

First time staying at this ski hill. Can’t wait to come back when mid winter conditions arrive. Front desk gal was wonderful and helped a lot while still being expedient.

Nice place. For those visiting kicking horse resort, it’s the ideal place to stay. The rooms are comfy, a bit dated but the whole area is kind of under developed and low key and this may be welcomed to many people. I suggest upgrade from the guest suites, it’s not much more and gives you much better room. Overall, it gets 5 stars because of value.

We went in between seasons so all the shops and restaurants were closed around the lodge. But there are shops and restaurants near the lodge when it is the right season. Also very clean and staff was friendly

ok spot to stay if skiing. rooms need some TLC. power outlets broken, random cords around the room, ceiling fan is most likely going fall soon.
if you are only using the room to sleep, it is decent.

From dealing with Dom on the phone in advance of arrival through our five night stay for a ski group event we found the staff pleasant and accommodating. Really enjoyed the boot dryers in the ski locker area. We were at the Mountaineer in a 1 bedroom with kitchen and laundry whose location allowed us eat in for lunch on the days we weren’t enjoying the delicious lunch and coffee at Double Black. We also had some nice meals in Golden as suggested by the hotel staff. Our first time to Kickinghorse and we were very impressed. The ski terrain and guides were world class but without the accompanying prices and crowds.
