The staff in general can still learn something from hospitality. I travel all over the world and this « service » is unparalleled. The staff is not shy about going on the attack straight away and even starts shouting if they don't like what they're doing. Our story: we went to the reception to exchange money. They are starting to be very difficult because we want to take 2 towels with us to the beach. An argument ensues and they start speaking among themselves and ignoring us. When I ask to communicate with us, they attack and shout at us. We leave the towels behind and call for a taxi. The taxi arrives, not an official taxi, full of bruises and duct tape... he asks 5000 XOF instead of the normal price 2000 to go to Pure Plage. We refuse this and the gentleman crawls into his taxi while shouting, when we walk away he hisses at us to call us back. We refuse and enter the hotel, we have absolutely no confidence left! We decide to go to the pool anyway and pick up towels for the t****th time: 1 per person suddenly. So we have to choose: either put one over the bed or to dry ourselves with. When we say that we have just brought in 2 towels, the gentleman keeps shouting 1 per person. How is this possible? Is there only shouting and discussion with the guests here, where is the hospitality? I have never experienced this approach anywhere in the world. This hotel is sold at a 4 star price, in reality this is abysmal and just plain bad. No respect. Breakfast little choice and buffet is poor. Lunch at the pool had little taste. Dinner « vegetarian market option » requested. What did I get for 12 euros: a cold salad that you normally get as a side dish. Sent back and then you get the question: what should we do with this now? The staff will then get angry with you again. There is a road to the beach that was created right in front of the hotel, but was never completed. It is located right on the beach but you cannot go there alone, it is not safe. Air conditioning not working! Light on the terrace does not work. Room basic, maybe for Africa too. According to EU values ​​a 1/10. The shower is moldy. To activate you have to pull the hose (?!) Hair everywhere, not cleaned in depth. Towels still dirty, I'm afraid these have not been replaced. Terrace and chairs have not been cleaned. No extra roll of toilet paper and the rooms are not cleaned during the stay. So you can ask for an extra roll of toilet paper yourself.

I wanted to visit the SARAKAWA hotel as a guest to practice my swimming lessons. I was refused access to the hotel by security guards at the entrance for the simple reason that I am black. In an African country, I am surprised by such practice, however, I was in an SUV car. The worst part was that the agents asked me what I was going to do at the hotel. Funny question for a hotel that is supposed to welcome the public.

The hotel is located in Lomé opposite the beach, very beautiful garden covering a large area. Several categories of rooms and bungalows suitable for solo, couple or family stays. One of the strong points is the availability of jogging trails in the very beautiful garden. Staff made up of professionals who know how to welcome and listen to customers. The hotel has ample space and can easily accommodate 4-5 large events without difficulty. Olympic swimming pool, security assured at all levels.

Nice hotel but no wifi connection, no air conditioning in the rooms 26 degrees, nothing has changed since last year, transparent staff in the face of feedback.. a mediocre stay....
