Love staying here! always clean comfortable and friendly! GREAT pool ! the best way to start the day with a dip in the heated pool. ALL of the staff are so friendly and remind us they are here to look after us. Close to the main town but away from the hussle and bussle, this was our 4th visit and we will be back!

Nice experience, veteran hotel, good environment, beautiful swimming pool! The location of the hotel is also very good, across the road is Terrigal Beach, opposite is a free 24-hour parking lot, and there is a French fine dinning nearby. The overall experience is good, it is a good place for a weekend getaway.

Great spot but, make sure you have food for dinners as the kiosk is barely open and only has a set menu for breakfast and lunch - the same menu for both. Book a newer cabin, ours was the Garden View - whilst only a short stroll to the beach, we had sand all through our cabin on arrival, mould in the bathroom, not a very clean feeling when using any utensils and a very mouldy/old smell throughout. If we were to book again, I’d definitely be booking a newer ocean view cabin with all the odds and ends.

Stayed for three weeks in January 2022, on a visit from the UK. Jodie found us a room which catered exactly for our needs for a longer stay. Nothing was too much trouble, and the staff were all very pleasant, efficient and helpful. Standard of cleanliness was excellent. Local facilities close by, with shopping centre across the road, and cafes, and bar in easy walking distance. If we needed to stay in the area again, we would not hesitate to stay here again. The room was very clean, saying that the Australian hotel had not touched the dirty, it was very clean, it may be that the air is too clean and easy to clean. There is no microwave in the room but there is a public kitchen. It is very convenient. The microwave oven is broken the next morning. Waiting for the staff to change one for a long time, the price is not expensive. It is almost the cheapest motel in Australia these days, maybe compare Remote

I drove north from Sydney to visit The entrance, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the lake mouth. At the same time, I won the grand prize for the third time in a month by booking a hotel on Ctrip. It was a super grand prize. As shown in the picture, the first three pictures are the interior of the room, and pictures 4-6 are the unbeatable sea view of the room balcony. It is a great experience to fall asleep in the roar of waves at such a close distance. The sister at the front desk is very friendly, the room is spotless, and the key is that there is no damp smell that is usually found in seaside hotels. The hotel has convenient parking. Picture 8 is the parking lot in the yard at the entrance. There is a discount if you go again within 12 months. The sister at the front desk is very friendly. The town as a whole has a good a**osphere for Asians. It is the best in this month's trip to Australia. I strongly recommend staying in The entrance and visiting this hotel.

We have stayed in this complex before when w evoked directly through Mantra. This time around we booked through the premium apartments, we didn’t realise I til we locked up the key it was in the same building. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Lovely big corner spa, right in town so close to food options and shops, next door to Ettalong diggers which was an easy dinner option. Long corridors can be noisy and echo but we didn’t hear anyone after about 8pm. Nice balcony, stove top and fridge, washer and dryer Downside was we drove around in circles for about 10 minutes trying to find the building before we realised it was at the Mantra. On the corner of the block is a real estate and you go in there and collect your keys. We booked through booking.com and the instructions were not sent to us. After hours of travelling with an infant we would have liked to avoid this last minute search.

GGuest UserStayed here during a last minute business trip. Rooms are simply furnished but very clean and comfortable, all you'd need for a night or two. The microwave oven in the room was a nice touch although it wasn't needed this trip. Rear door access, heating and cooling were good, and the bed was clean and comfortable. Quiet too, despite being only a little back from the main road. Check in was friendly and easy. The car park could be a little tight if you have a large 4WD, but it just means taking a little extra care, nothing that would prevent anyone with a large car parking there. Would definitely stay again.

AAnonymous UserThis unit is over-priced. We stayed in a double unit, the two of us, which is better suited to either 2 couples or 2 adults and 2 kids which would justify the price. Upstairs is almost a carbon copy of downstairs in that both have almost full kitchens (no ovens), excellent reverse cycle air conditioning, TV's etc. Other than a very old, very off carton of milk left in the fridge the unit was exceptionally clean.
Upon arriving, we were asked to pay which we had already done when booking. Beware no refunds once booked although this didn't apply in our case. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Had to ask for toilet paper and purchase milk as only two small milk thimbles in fridge. Expected to wash up, dry and put away dishes and utensils before leaving and remove all garbage. We usually do this anyway but I thought it was quite an ask to be expected at those prices. It's post-Covid so I am wondering if lack of staff is the reason for this and perhaps this may change in the future.
No buffet or restaurant on site. No room service. Don't expect any meals. No foxtel as advertised. At least we couldn't get it but they did have Netflix provided. We took our chromecast with us, thank goodness!
The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. Maybe 25 metres? Also, in the afternoon a lot of it is shaded. It's not heated so it's pretty chilly even in late November.
The beach is gorgeous but the room we had didn't have views and the units are in the street behind the main shops so whilst very close to the beach (a mere two minutes) it isn't overlooking the beach. Also, very tight carpark if you have a larger car.
I would recommend the family unit or double unit for 3 to 4 people. Otherwise stick to a single unit. I probably would not return unless with another couple because there are nicer places with more amenities that don't expect you to do the housework at the same or even better prices.

PPearl65Sunday. Reception closed. No key box code text so had to use phone. They said it was because we had a UK number....but two other Aussie guests hadn't had the text either, so that didn't make sense. Key was released remotely. No problem. Lovely studio. Well equipped. Some crockery and cutlery were dirty. We always wash what we're going to use anyway. Paintwork tatty, sofa stained, a/c kept clicking, shower cubicle paint chipped and tiles cracked but nowhere is perfect when it comes down to it. It was still perfectly functional. Good car park. Fabulous location. Comfy bed. Quiet. It was a good stay and we would definitely book again.

GGuest UserThis is a great quirky stay. If it weren’t for the things I list below it would be 5 stars but can’t look past this place is overpriced because of its unique experience. Before going into the serious misgivings of this property, one must read this to understand they market the family rooms as having a “full” kitchen . THEY DO NOT HAVE A FULL KITCHEN…. There is no oven 1. It is one of the hottest parts of summer here and we couldn’t use the pool. The ladder was broken with very unsafe sharp plastic that could cause some serious harm. I advised the manager who at first didn’t want to even entertain my friendly smiling visit by not looking up from His computer and at first denying it was broken until I mentioned The hazard to people with the sharp plastic causing injury, only then did I get a raise of an eye and say he would get into it. Well left today and not address and pool Open to one and all to severely cut themselves 2. Spa is just a concrete box with water and some bubbles. There are no seats in spa and to enjoy it as a spa you would need to stand up in it 3. Newly renovated family rooms . Our shower door could barely open . Then the water ran all over the bathroom floor and not draining well as the drain had not been properly placed 4. Don’t shower at the same time as someone in an ajoining room as you loose ALL hot water 5. Quite a few cockroaches both big and German . I’m saying that cockroaches in many places but how about a proper Spray or provide insect killer 6. Bedroom ceiling fans would be very useful instead of having to keep Air con on to keep rooms cool during the night. Overall the experience was great. I completely understand people not liking those jobs but perhaps Peter as manager should seek another more appropriate job to his liking . Every interaction be it Email, phone and in person was met with disinterest and hostility . We would return but at a much better price point to reflect the above things mentioned . Note it is stair access only. There is a lift but only operated by staff and staff not always around The accommodation area is able to be accessed by all sorts visiting other areas of the complex so keep doors Locked and kept Safe The general access areas need a good clean Access to the beach is a short walk Accross the road The stair access to our room was incredibly unsafe at night with no lighting and loads of dusty handrails . This could again certainly lead to serious injury

GGuest User- Good location to explore Avoca, Terrigal and Umina Beach, and nearby areas within the Central Coast. - Rooms (we stayed at a 2 bed villa, with 1 toilet) are old and musty. Flooring is carpeted. The carpets haven't been replaced in years and they smell, look and feel like it. The toilet and kitchenette too could do with a refresh / upgrade. All of the furniture. lighting and upholstery needs to be replaced. The balcony could also do with a little work. - The rooms are old but not unlivable. - The basic common facilities (coffee shop and restaurant, 2 pools) are not bad. Could do with a wider and upgraded menu serving wider palettes. - The staff members were good. - We didn't have any room cleaning or towel replacements during our 3 day stay (could be that it wasn't included - would be nice though). - It definitely isn't cheap. Would expect more for this price. Hence the rating of 3.

I'm giving 5 stars because it is a great budget motel. It is advertised as a 3 star budget motel and that's exactly what you get. Our room was small, but perfect. The staff are wonderful. The pool is fantastic and some rooms are pet friendly. I booked in with my tiny toy poodle, my two girls and husband and it was perfect. The room was exceptionally clean. The staff are fantastic. I phoned for my booking (because I have a pet) Thank you for a great place to stay for a 2 night stop over. We will be back. Thank you
