The hot spring in the building is just a large public bath.
If you walk a little further you can get to a hot spring with an open-air bath, but it's too far away.
Breakfast is also at business hotel level.

I go to Tokinosu illuminations about three times a year, but this time I used it on the way back from Tokyo. I received a gift certificate and coupon for the chocolate factory without dinner because I thought that the arrival time would be delayed due to construction on the Tomei Expressway. The weather was good, so Mt. Fuji was beautiful from the room. I enjoyed watching the illuminations at night. I bought some chocolate on the way back.

It was a time when there was a lack of rain, so the sewage smell was a bit of a concern, but otherwise it was very good. The air conditioning was good and the room was spacious. Even with an extra bed for the child, the room was spacious. I didn't know that the reservation was for the annex Brush and Up, not the main building, and I was a little surprised at the difference. If it had been the main building Gotemba Kogen Hotel, I think I would have had a slightly different impression. The hot spring public bath has good spring quality, but it has a stale structure without an open-air bath. A structure left behind by the times, at least at a level that makes the name of Onsen Heaven Gotemba cry. Although it is a low-level annex hotel, I can't help but think that the cost performance is too bad in this day and age. However, I don't think it's possible anymore, improvement. that's all.

There were illuminations and an aquarium on the premises, as well as horses and goats, so even families with small children could enjoy themselves, and the baths were great. The restaurant and craft workshop (souvenir shop?) were also very satisfying.
On the other hand, I was disappointed to find a large lump of dust in the bedroom, and an old spider web when I tried to open the window.
