🚌位置：從機場坐大巴，然後再步行10分鐘就可以到。步行一路還經過哥德堡的幾個主要觀光點。 🛏️房間：每一層都有很多個房間，剛入住的時候像走迷宮一樣。房間的床是獨立兩個床墊的，也是很好的設計。像大部份歐洲酒店，牙刷那些都是沒有的。但房間有提供吹風機，這個太棒了。 🍜早餐：早餐就是經典的歐式，無非就是各種沙拉，麵包，冷盤食物，沒太特別的。有些瑞典傳統食物，可以嘗新。 😠不足：我住的那個房間，廁所沖水是壞的，我第一天告訴了員工，第二天還沒有人給我修好！為了不在房間留下沒沖走的💩，衹能上酒店的公共廁所！

The room was clean and had an iron, kettle and fridge. The “double” bed upstairs was two single beds shoved together. Not worth paying for a third person as it was a sofa bed- which pulled out extremely low down so they basically slept on the floor. They also had a very hard section so was not very comfy. It cost us an extra 85 pounds for this- which was not worth it! We stayed in Pigalle Hotel Gothenburg for 2 nights The location of the hotel is very central and super close to the central station of Gothenburg ( about3 minutes walk), it is also close to tons of restaurants, cafes and a big shopping mall where you will find everything The reception when we first entered the Hotel did not meet our expectations, it was not that warm welcome and for a moment felt almost like self service, I thought it was bizarre for a 5 stars hotel to have average reception for their guests. Decoration of the hallway, the bar at ground floor, the entrance and even the stairs was surprisingly very vintage, romantic and outstanding design, overall it was charming and very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Even the room design, the wall paper and the bathroom were all of the same theme (vintage & romantic and it quite warm feeling) The bed was super comfy, we slept very well like bears so if you wanna have a great sleep they got the beds and pillows for it. Also the breakfast every morning was nothing short of delicious and the taste of everything was great and you can feel that they only use fresh & high quality ingredients, the methods of the cooking and preparations were very 5 stars indeed, and the service of the staff as well, they were very friendly and professional. Nevertheless the room we stayed at did not match the pictures on the hotel web page, it was not very spacious neither was the bathroom, and next to the bed both nightstands had stains on them, we were also not pleased with the cleanliness of the room nor the bathroom as there were so much chalky limescale deposits all over the bathroom floor. The closet in our room was sort of broken and need reparation as it was quite warn out, also it had very small space to hang our clothes and even less space for stuff because it had only 2 small shelves. No free coffee, nor tea and not even water in the room, quite disappointing for a 5 stars hotel, I honestly was upset as there were no trash cans in the room, there were just one in the bathroom and you need to walk there every time you had trash to throw. Also although we were couple, we only got 1 welcome package and even that was very basic. In Summary: The Hotel have a charming, vintage aesthetic and an unbeatable central location. However, the room quality fell short of expectations for a 5-star establishment, with cleanliness issues and a lack of amenities. The delicious breakfast and exceptional service of the staff helped redeem the experience.

Scandic Europa is the perfect location to stop if you ate going to a concert at the Ullevi stadium. Located right by the main station. The rooms were adequate and the breakfast excellent. We did have a couple of issues that were immediately sorted out so nothing negative to say. We left very early in the morning, Uber was on time and we were provided with breakfast boxes. Overall a very good choice.

It was a quite wonderful experience to stay at First G hotel in terms of the following, I can actually say I have never gotten this kind of experience outside of Japan in my life. Their services with smiling faces, breakfast especially scrambled egg and a lot of line up of breads, convenient location to take almost all trams which will take you anywhere in Goteborg, finally entire performance per cost. Because I couldn't book a hotel, I squeezed in with my colleagues temporarily. The room facilities are relatively old, but the hygiene is passable, and the breakfast is also good. It's very close to the central station and the focus is on value for money.

I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars. I liked the size of the room, the fact that the kids could have their own beds (we had a lofted family room), and the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. It was very nice that we could walk to Liseberg and the Universium from the hotel, since those were our two main destinations in Gothenburg. Breakfast was good. Not the best breakfast buffet I had in Sweden, but still good. There was quite a large selection so everyone found something to enjoy. The breakfast area did get rather crowded and noisy in the later part of the morning, but that’s probably to be expected in a hotel of this size. They seemed very sensitive to food allergies and restrictions, though I don’t have first hand experiences to report there. The maids did a great job cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming, and the linens were clean. The room really needed a deep cleaning, though. The wooden floor had engrained dirt and was sticky, the loft staircase handrail felt sticky, and the do not disturb sign was soiled. (It looked like someone sneezed on it.) This hotel was the only one in Sweden where I felt I had to keep my shoes on in my room so my feet didn’t get soiled. That really affected how I felt about my stay. Room cleanliness is very important to me. Also, only one window opened and only a few inches. The other was locked shut. The weather was quite warm while we were there and it would have been nice to open both windows. I didn’t enjoy that any kind of room cleaning or linen replacement had to be requested by 10 pm the night before. I am finding that this is a more and more common trend in hotels but on the other hand it wasn’t the case for the hotels where I stayed in Stockholm and Orsa. I’m not sure that I’d stay here again. Of the three hotels I experienced in Sweden, this is the only one I’d hesitate to return to.

At first, I was unsure as to why this hotel was four rather than three stars. There are several amenities lacking that I would expect in a four star hotel. For example. There is no safe in our room, no fridge, no proper bar (drinks are in bottles/ cans) and the gym is in another building from what I can tell. But, the breakfast is truly wonderful! I had so much choice in the dedicated lactose and gluten free area, and the staff remembered I don’t eat gluten and offered me pancakes without me having to ask! All the staff are so helpful and friendly, you really do forgive some of the other aspects. But our room was absolutely tiny. There is a luggage stand, but not enough space to open it up! We rearranged the room (put the table in the clothing rail space) to even have enough space to have one suitcase open, we had to keep the other done up and upright. There was no where to really unpack, and there were just three hangers on the rail. But, the room was clean and the hotel is well located to get into town quickly and easily, so again, we could forgive this when just using the space as a base for exploring. The shower looked like it would break if we moved it, so didn’t adjust the height which was a bit annoying, and the water floods out into the bathroom if used on full power. So we didn’t, as no floor towel/ bath mat is provided. There is an ironing room on the third floor, but no water is provided to use the steam, and I read in a response to a review that you could request a fridge from reception if you wanted one in your room. No one told us this and I couldn’t find this information on the website, so would be good to make this clearer to guests. No idea where we would put it as again space is so tight, but we would probably have made use of it if we had been able to. You do have to book a slot for breakfast which isn’t ideal, but no one is policing it; just used as a means to stagger breakfast times so everyone gets a table. Also have to book room cleaning, but this didn’t bother us as we don’t need a clean every day and are happy with the hotels energy saving measures (which is why the fridges aren’t available as default) so support their reasons for doing all of these things! The hotel overlooks the train tracks, and you do hear the odd train, but doesn’t really disturb you at all. The problem is the noise from inside the hotel. There were some very noisy guests on Saturday night, we could hear them talking and running and even mobile phones vibrating all through the night. This really does disturb your sleep, and I have seen other reviews that mention this. Overall, a nice stay that provided everything that we needed. If we were returning to Gothenburg, we would stay here again, but would probably check out the availability on other options first.

I needed to arrange a conference at the same hotel a trade show was being held. Based on a previous experience I thought all would be ok, I was wrong. The hotel seems to work openly against your actual requirements. I'd asked for rooms to be reserved which proved a problem. I'd said from the outset that we'd require a group dinner with menu choices, this also proved to be a problem which resulted in me needing to find a restaurant nearby who could help. Ridiculous that Gothia towers (at it's size) expects a large group to all eat the same meal with no regards to choice, whereas a local restaurant can accommodate you seems strange to say the least. When arriving at the conference rooms I was taken aback that I wasn't able to meet my contact whom I'd shared so many emails. It was a faceless envelope handover and the mention of 'ask at reception if you need anything'. The only positive from this was a lady called Christina who was able to help locate items that had been shipped ahead, I'm grateful for her help. The breakfast room at the hotel was disorganized chaos, find somewhere to sit by yourself and get on with things. It reminded me of an all you can eat option in a hotel in Egypt years ago. An experience I never repeated, much like this event left me with the same thought!

If you travel with car, this hotel has excellent location. Very nice sub urban area. To Lisebergs amusement park and very big shopping mall 10 minutes away. Breakfast was excellent and coffee - definitely best during visit in Sweden. Most important while traveling, we all had GOOD sleep in comortable beds. In rooms hotel is having a good selection when travelling with family. Eventhough they don't have restaurant, they had tasty variation for evening meal. Worth the money!
