We enjoyed the stay, service and equipment very well. The hotel set consists of 2 land houses and 1 sea house, which is directly on the beautiful bathroom. We had a room in the land house with view of the train tip. The breakfast had a nice selection of various pans, cheese, eggs, musli and bakery variations. A alternate selection would have been nice, but still completely enough. The dinner is set by the restaurant ”Werdenfels” as a buffet and has tasted us very well. There are many possibilities for outdoor activities such as walking, boat tours (in summer), With the cableway to the top of the train and skiing there. With a hotel ticket you can travel free to the Eibsee or to the neighbouring cities of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. There is an internal wellness area with possibility for massages. I had the quick relaxing massage and was deeply relaxed afterwards! The staff was very careful and premature. We can only recommend the hotel and would come back.

The hotel is at the foot of Chuge Peak, parking is free, the room size is oversized, with a balcony of 60 square meters, and the balcony is outside the mountain view. The bathroom has small water pressure, ordinary facilities, a bit old. The elevator is broken, people with more luggage are not recommended, parking is free.

The reception is friendly. The hotel is beautifully located on the Riesser Lake with views of the mountains or the CAP. From here you can start to beautiful walks. In summer the lake invites to bath. We were here a few years ago. We had a household and that was really great ... and 2Balkone with view to the lake. All clean and ordening. The breakfast buffet does not leave any wishes open! You can also sit nice outside. In the spa area saunas ... and pool as well as small whirlpool - from here access to the sun terrace. Treatments can also be booked. The seahouse offers a delicious and beautiful seat. We liked it very much. We'll come back. ****

Booked a comfort double room with a small round table for tea. 2 mountains can be seen. Below the hotel are small rivers and train tracks. Closing the window is not noisy. In the evening, the hotel has a buffet for 20 people. Free for children under 6 years old. The attitude of the staff said how to say the past to the Chinese. But don't don't understand English and don't realize it. It is possible to pay more. Our children are 3 months and 6 years old. In the evening, the buffet was 10 Euros. The children are also very happy to eat. We didn't say much about it. This hotel is the only one that has a hot water bottle for this trip. 10 km from the parking lot of the eibsee lake.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The check in process was easy, we had arrived at Garmisch station at 2pm, so after an easy 5 minute walk from the station we were able to check in as soon as we arrived. We were welcomed by a lovely roaring fire in the reception area. We booked a suite which was on the second floor, and was simply amazed by the quality of the refurbishment they had taken place. We couldn’t fault it. Breakfast was lovely. A platter of cold meats and cheeses and all the extras one would expect. The chap on breakfast duty deserves a medal. He copes very well with all the replenishment and cooking eggs to everyone’s taste. Over all we really couldn’t fault this hotel and will definitely be back. The only comment we would make is the possibility of supplying a kettle in the rooms. The hotel do supply tea and coffee nearby to the breakfast room, but the luxury of being able to make a cuppa in your room when we need it, would be great. Stayed here as part of a group tour going to the Oberammergau passion play. The hotel is about a half hour drive from Oberammergau itself. The hotel at first seemed quite old fashioned with lots of wood and patterned carpets and a very rickety single lift. However the hotel is actually a very nice mix of old and modern. With a very nice seating area in the reception area and a nice bar area. Our room was on the 2nd floor, we did manage to squeeze 3 people into the tiny rickety lift, but it wasn’t easy. The only plus was at least the lift was fast. The room was nice with a separate seating area, the beds initially seemed soft, but actually were comfortable, the storage was good and there was a decent flat screen TV. There was also a safe, which I couldn’t initially get to work as there were no instructions, however I asked at reception for help and they sent housekeeping very quickly to show me how it worked. They also sent someone to change the pillows which were far too soft. The bathroom/shower room was very nice, obviously recently upgraded, it was very clean and modern with nice toiletries and bathrobes were included. We had a very nice balcony which would be nice to sit out on, unfortunately we had no time (or energy) to do this. The restaurant is on the ground floor, with a nice selection on the menu which we enjoyed. The staff were lovely very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in the conservatory area, which was frankly cold as breakfast was early and the windows were open as was the door. Breakfast was continental with some hot food, scrambled egg and one other hot side. The reason I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 is there was no air conditioning in our room, the room was very hot, we left the window open of course, but that just let more hot air in, also the lift really was poor and breakfast was really quite chilly with windows and door open in the early morning.
