"Not far from the famous Eibsee, the hotel itself faces Badersee. The clientele is mostly European, no Chinese, the environment is very nice and quiet. Breakfast is a bit lacking; there are no vegetables, only a small amount of salad, but there's a good variety of bread. The bed was fairly comfortable, but I was very disappointed to find hair on the large bath towel. The hotel offers free transportation cards for free bus rides to Eibsee or a small train ride to Garmish. If you're going to the Zugspitze and Lake Eibsee, you might consider staying here for a night; it's quite nice."

Hotel Quellenhof

"I booked this accommodation to visit Lake Eibsee and Čukpitze. However, every room has a balcony and the view is amazing, so I was completely satisfied!! The location is a bit far from the city center, but you can ride the bus for free with a guest card. There is a bus stop right in front of the accommodation, so I was able to get around without any inconvenience! I recommend it~"

Romantik Alpenhotel Waxenstein

"Had a long- standing 2 night booking here for June 2022. A few days ago we received an email (in German to UK guests which was not a helpful start and not impressive for a 5 star hotel in a popular tourist place) which said, 'We have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that we are having a new pool. The bad news is that we will therefore be closed when you are due to come, so you wont be able to stay. We look forward to you staying in the future.' No apology. No expression of regret af the disruption of our plans. No arrangement of alternative accommodation at a similar hotel in Grainau. Appalling customer service. Such an email should never have been sent out. If that is how they treat potential guests then they should not be in the hospitality industry. NB we wrote to express our astonishment at receiving such a rude email but they did not bother to reply."

"The Alpspitz Hotel does not need any extensive review. Most of the reviews I read meet. You can refer to them. However, the family, jewelry hotel in chalet style, seems friendly and invited from the beginning. It is covered by cleanliness and style. The boss and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and cozy, the facilities were practical. Despite the main street that passed before the house, the room was quiet, displaced from the HS. There are enough outdoor parking spaces available. We spent 4 nights there. The breakfast was rich and varied, it missed nothing. Best coffee on our German stay. Thank you again!"

"This place was amazing! It has a rustic yet modern feel. Only was there for one night, but if time was available I would have extended my stay. Barbara and her mother Christine have paid close attention to the details. Barbara even sent a email to make sure our stay was going well. Can’t say enough about the charm of this place. So many different areas to relax and enjoy the scenery."
