Stunning hotel in a prime location , lovely food and an extra special thank you to Tom in the restaurant/bar who was brilliant! We’ll definitely be back and looking forward to the next visit already. Didn’t manage to go in the spa as I’m pregnant but next time we’ll explore this too as it looks amazing.

On entering the reception we were enthusiastically greeted by Gavin. He gave us great advice on the various attractions and restaurants in the area. The room was exceptionally clean and we have our room attendant Rose to thank for that. The restaurant served a delicious meal and I would highly recommend this hotel as it is so close to the shops and railway station.

This is a really solid hotel. Cannot argue on the price or the location. This hotel is right in the heart of Cardiff and close to all the very rowdy bars and clubs. Check in was simple and easy - all staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. Room was wonderful - only slight issue was the amount of dust on top of the blue border of the headboard. However, the bed was really comfy - pillows so so good. All AC worked as well as the TV. Lovely immaculate bathroom with all you need. Used the hotel bar as well and the prices were not too bad! All in all cannot really fault this stay. Just really good and really solid.

We had a wonderful spa day at the park gate that was gifted to us as a birthday present. The whole experience was very relaxing from start to finish. Alison greeted us at reception and explained everything, we were then looked after by Monica and Eliza who kindly offered us a glass of Prosecco and made the day feel even more special. The facilities were clean too and felt very exclusive with the wonderful views😃 thank you x

Visited the Parkgate with my girlfriend and I have to say, what an experience. We booked a spa day and was greeted by Eliza who showed us around and was very helpful. We stayed and had food at the restaurant, which too was incredible. Next time we'll definitely book a room.

Great location, beautiful property, friendly/helpful staff, great breakfast and v good gym. Would certainly recommend and will return.
