From a lovely church in the centre of the town, to a lively arts centre, there's lots to see and do in Grantham. And a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Grantham puts you right at the heart of the town. We're handy if you want to stretch those legs too, with some great walks around the Twin Lakes and in the Lincolnshire countryside. If you'd like something a bit more fast-paced, why not try go-karting at PFI Karting, or watch the races at Newark? The shops at Nottingham are well worth a visit, and Belvoir Castle is a must too. Then come back to the hotel for some lovely food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant, and a warm, comfy bed in your room.Show More

In over twenty years of staying at Premier Inn the attached Brewers Fayre is the best I have ever been in. Well run, clean, polite / efficient staff and delicious meal. I don't usually provide reviews but I have to make an exception here.

Hotel was nice but housekeeping is far too early. I was awoken at 8am by them cleaning other rooms with doors open. Then at 8:30 they turned a TV on while cleaning one of the rooms. Surely they know people are still sleeping? Or is it a tactic to get you awake and checked out? Ruined my stay.

Great stay, very friendly staff, warm welcome, clean and spacious family room on the ground floor with shiny bathroom and a wonderful shower. Comfortable beds and great location next to the A1. Room came with a fan, which I appreciated. Windows had limited opening. Nice and peaceful room on the whole could only hear the odd room door closing occasionally. If window was open you can hear the traffic on the A1 which didn’t personally bother me. I was grateful for the premier inn Wi-Fi as I had no coverage on EE. Brewers Faye pub next door with a full range for breakfast something for everyone. Kept fresh and topped up, cooked breakfast was hot and delicious. A wide range for continental breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Returned for dinner only downside was not being advised to book ahead as the restaurant was fully booked however they advised if there’s a table in the bar area they was more than happy for us to be served in this area and luckily there was two tables available so we sat there. Expected quite a wait for our food as the pub was very busy however food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious! Overall fantastic stay and would happily return.

Very old and neglected Premier Inn. Bedroom was very old in design (light wood interior from years ago) not like the darker wood interiors that we’ve experienced for many years at other Premier Inns. Receptionist at check-in was indifferent (in such contrast to the warm welcomes we’ve always had at other PI’s). Told us it wasn’t possible to have rooms serviced (despite info on website and in room saying service could be requested) and to come and ask if we required anything. When my husband went back to reception 10 mins later to request some toilet paper he was given the 3rd degree from the same receptionist as to why we needed it!!! We’ve stayed at many Premier Inns over the years but Grantham is probably the worst we’ve stayed at. I did notice over the weekend that the other reception staff appeared to be much more engaged and welcoming. Really in need of a complete refurbishment to bring it into line with other Premier Inns as well as some staff training for the surly receptionist who certainly was lacking in a “can do” attitude or indeed just some pleasantries.

Very impressive rooms, sparkling clean, paintwork and fittings in excellent repair and condition, comfortable bed with clean white linen. The staff were extremely friendly both at reception and at the Brewers fayre pub and restaurant next door. Great food and service. Highly recommended.

I stayed with the family just for one night,I have stayed in many premier inns and I have to say this was one of the cleanest and friendliest I have stayed in yet. I spoke to a couple of cleaners Laura and mags I think that was their names, they were very helpful in giving directions to the local shop and a helpful young man called Riley who offered to help my wife with her bags. I even made the effort to talk to the manager rams to make it clear how much I appreciated the whole team being helpful if I’m in the area again it’s definitely where I will be staying.
