"I was in Grantham with my partner for a family party. I'm actually from Grantham originally, so know the town very well. To be honest, most of the hotels in the area aren't the best in the world and very run down in most cases. So, I was pleasantly surprised by the Archway. It's in a great position with a large car park just next to it (free to park after 6pm and on Sundays). You're pretty much in the centre of town as soon as you walk out the door. It's a listed building, so old wooden shutter windows, but we didn't have any issues for our stay. Even with the road just outside. The room was very nice, a reasonable size and actually resembled the online photos. A real bargain for the £50 we paid to be honest. We were welcomed by the owners, who made sure we were comfortable. Our trip was a rushed affair, so we didn't try out the breakfast, but I got the impression that it would have been extremely good given the attention to detail for other elements of our stay. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Archway if you need a bed in Grantham."

"Great hotel excellent value.. The staff provided an excellent service. Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and clothes hangers. Also provided with a hair dyer, iron, iron board, kettle tea and coffee making facilities.The bed is huge and very comfortable with good quality bed linen. Nice very clean bathroom, freshly laundered excellent quality towels, large walk in shower cubicle with a very good shower. They do not provide breakfast but you are a 10 minute walk to brewers fayre who provide breakfast. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will use it again in the future."

"If I'm honest this hotel was not great value for money. The room was small, not very clean, bed was uncomfortable and smelt musty (I know they make a big thing about being a hotel/inn since 1203 - but I don't want the smell from that era as well). I have stayed here previously and it was much better (or at least the room I was in was better). So I will not being staying here in the future"

"We are so pleased we picked Allington Manor for our ceremony and wedding breakfast. Leo and the team were so kind and helpful, always trying to make it a smooth process and answering any questions we had. The manor was beautiful and the newly renovated gardens were perfect. "WE had to wait to check in as there was a lot of people there going to a ****** miystery event. The room was clean but we were right above the kitchen so as they started early for breakfast we were woken up with the fans. we only had breakfast but it was not worth the price that they charge, limited food and cold so next time we stop we will not be having breakfast. It is in a great location for us as our son is in RAF and lives in Grantham so only the next junction away. The bonus for us is that they take dogs ."
