"Great hotel excellent value.. The staff provided an excellent service. Rooms are spacious with plenty of storage and clothes hangers. Also provided with a hair dyer, iron, iron board, kettle tea and coffee making facilities.The bed is huge and very comfortable with good quality bed linen. Nice very clean bathroom, freshly laundered excellent quality towels, large walk in shower cubicle with a very good shower. They do not provide breakfast but you are a 10 minute walk to brewers fayre who provide breakfast. Will definitely recommend this hotel and will use it again in the future."

"WE had to wait to check in as there was a lot of people there going to a ****** miystery event. The room was clean but we were right above the kitchen so as they started early for breakfast we were woken up with the fans. we only had breakfast but it was not worth the price that they charge, limited food and cold so next time we stop we will not be having breakfast. It is in a great location for us as our son is in RAF and lives in Grantham so only the next junction away. The bonus for us is that they take dogs ."

"The room was spacious and clean. It was a bit cold but the heater warm up the room quickly. The mattress was firm and we sufficient pillows. Tea n coffee was well stocked. Good location because it is not far from town centre and major supermarket n shops. TV signal was terrible. The staff was friendly and helpful"

"My booking at Colsterworth Travelodge having expired I went for the next nearest. So glad I did. As soon as the duty manager saw I was struggling with my tools (Ihave a lot of them) she immediately came and took charge, grabbing the nearest heavy items and like a whirwind directed by a higher intelligence my stuff was in and away tidy. Nothing is too much trouble for the people here and it's clear the management culture has been imbued in all the staff. It may be a budget hotel but the service is premium. I was in two minds as to whether I should write such a positive review, but I've been here in between houses for well over a month and there has been not one instance of unhelpfulness. It's an older building so don't expect high luxury but it has more than adequate hot water, it's warm in the coldest of weathers and there's been a lot of that. The only criticism I have reltes to the poor state of exterior building maintenance. Allowing the gable end cladding to get in such a poor state that it's falling off is unforgiveable. Whoever is in charge of exterior maintenance needs to come, look, and above all ACT before the brickwork goes rotten on the South facing gable end."

"If I'm honest this hotel was not great value for money. The room was small, not very clean, bed was uncomfortable and smelt musty (I know they make a big thing about being a hotel/inn since 1203 - but I don't want the smell from that era as well). I have stayed here previously and it was much better (or at least the room I was in was better). So I will not being staying here in the future"

"Stopped there overnight on my way to Scotland. Friendly staff, clean room, and ample parking even with large van. Asked for room with view on carpark so i can see and check the van in the meantime. Quiet night, and good coffee on the nearby services"

"Easy to book was last minute, reasonably priced clean to look at few wear and tear marks in the bathroom but nothing major would definitely stay again"

"We stayed in this pub with family for one night, I didn’t realise faulty towers still existed. We were locked out by 11pm , bedside lamps didn’t have any lightbulbs. A new shower but didn’t work apparently you have to search the bedroom for a switch to turn it on. According to management we got the rooms for a good rate! Also our bed was on the slant like we were on a hill going down wards . We had a good laugh between us!"
