Location is a 4 minute walk from the train station and a 6 minute walk from Lidl. The receptionists are hardworking, friendly and efficient, whilst this A&O has a communal kitchen to offer guests and a storage for Bicycles. There is naturally a bar and coffee available too, to buy. The place has a decent sized common space for working and socialising alongside a pool table and a 48 player table football! Lots of books are scattered around too. Would recommend 100% Rooms were clean and spacious with complimentary shower gel provided. Good value.

The biggest advantage of the family room we booked is that it is located just one stop away from the Central Railway Station and is very convenient. It only takes ten minutes to get there! Breakfast is also okay, overall it’s okay and I will book it next time!

Portable fans available at the reception, a very sensible approach to guest comfort. Extra points.
But far many points off for the shabbiness of the guest rooms, the common areas. I can not tell dirt that won't shift from dirt that no one has tried to shift, and to stay in a place that seems dirty is as unhappy an experience as to stay in one that truly is dirty : Both make for a dreary evening and morning. And . . . every time I stay -- a visit every few weeks ! -- the place appears worse run-down. Depressing. How much does Domestos cost, after all ? Maybe fresh paint is out of the question, but . . . neaten up the picked-away edges of the signage ? To do so wouldn't break A&O.

A tip of the hat to "Markus", desk clerk, who brought my room key up from the Empfang almost before I realised that I had left it there --
a two thumbs down to the decisions not to put either a rubbish bin in the room (only in the bathroom) and not to put a drinking cup, a paper one would have done ! , in the bathroom

Wir waren bereits in einem anderen A&O Hostel und wussten, was uns erwartet. Für einen Urlaub, bei dem man nicht viel im Hostel sondern eher in der Stadt unterwegs ist bietet sich das A&O gut an. Die Zimmer waren so ausgestattet, wie beschrieben und sauber, es gab die Möglichkeit, die Gemeinschaftsküche zu nutzen und auch vor Ort zu waschen. Man erreicht die Stadt problemlos zu Fuß und der Hauptbahnhof ist direkt nebenan, außerdem konnten wir unser Gepäck vor dem Check-In und nach dem Check-Out kostenlos im Gepäckraum unterbringen. Das Frühstück am ersten Tag war katastrophal, obwohl wir 2 Stunden vor Ende des Frühstücks dort waren gab es kaum mehr Auswahl, das Besteck sah aus als wäre es gar nicht abgewaschen worden und auch auf Nachfrage hat sich kein Mitarbeiter darum gekümmert. Am nächsten Tag sind wir dann direkt um 07 Uhr zum Frühstück und es war deutlich besser. Insgesamt aber auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.

See simple and cheap hotel. We were very satisfied and would like to book it again. The location is absolutely top, but it is quite noisy in the center. The price was absolutely unbeatable and the process was extremely uncomplicated...

L'hotel est propre, les chambres aussi. le petit déjeuner à 9€90/jour payé sur place est parfait , très bon et varié. Seuls les cousins sur le lit n'ont pas été appréciés car ils étaient trop "mou". Quand je suis entrée dans la chambre j'avais pas fait attention au fait que le chauffage avait été mis sur le 2. Et j'ai eu froid la nuit heureusment je m'en suis rendu compte le deuxieme jour et j'ai augmenté la chaleur de la piece en le mettant sur le 4.
