"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."

"The hostel is in an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the main train station, making it ideal for an overnight stay if you are travelling early in the morning or looking for accommodation close to the station. It offers many useful services that provide everything you might need. There are two vending machines in the hostel – one with snacks and drinks, and another with various hygiene products such as toiletries and earplugs. The hostel also has a bar where you can enjoy a drink, as well as a coffee machine and hot beverages available at affordable prices. The hostel also offers meals. Breakfast is available for €10–11 and is fairly basic, including several types of cold cuts, cheese, eggs, cereals and muesli, yoghurt, pancakes, jams, hot drinks, coffee, and juices."

"Very good: Breakfast ( even coffee half-was not common in most hotels ) / reception Location: locked between railway ( there is rarely a train and there are 3 discs of glasses ) and highly driven road, Guide also with tram line 4 possible, this does not drive ”permanent”, i.e. if necessary, a few minutes direction jakumini go, then there are also the 5s to select Mess very close, gy. also savings, McDonalds, etc. Rooms: doors foolish - you have to throw them super noise, otherwise you can't go there is no bathroom door - also somewhat unusual - suspected space saving concept, recommend rooms to the quieter side of the railway When you are on public road - at certain times you can certainly go superflott to the main railway station, but think only 1x per hour"

"walkable from Graz train station still very quiet rooms with modern room and bathroom facilities. we stayed in winter and the heating was good but  can not comment on AC. beds were comfortable. breakfast varieties were plenty and overall taste was good. staff was helpful. the city centre was within walking range and tram lines in the city centre were free."

"Nice hotel and great value for money. Ibis's interlocking hotels are great and very standardized in all aspects. The disadvantage is that it is a bit far from the train station, but relatively close to the old town."

"After a long trip you come to the hotel and just want to check in without problems. Unfortunately, this was not the case. A staff member told me hard that breakfast was not included in the price and does not even try to explain why. Simply, despite evidence, he said differently... Fortunately, the next day, another employee was and explained to me how and what is. Then the matter was quickly resolved. Frokost costs €12.90, and there are no hot dishes (e.g. sauce, eggs, etc.). Only bread, sauce and sweets... cooked eggs were cold! ... so better elsewhere breakfast than in the hotel..."

"The hotel is just across the street from the train station. It has good air conditioning, plenty of electricity, a large bathroom with a bathtub, and provides tea bags, coffee, and milk. The room is bright and has a great view. It's a 15-minute walk straight to the city center, with many shops, small supermarkets, and restaurants along the way, but they close quite early."
