Dear dog lovers, - this is "NOT a dog hotel :-((" - not dog friendly - no dogs allowed in the breakfast room (!) - no service for dogs (!) - as soon as a dog enters the breakfast room, "the staff panics" - we were unfortunately "thrown out of the breakfast room" in a very panicked and very rude manner and sat on a "lonely, uncovered table right next to the reception, in the entrance hall - without place settings - without service" (unfortunately, instead of setting the table for us, the service staff had to chat with the receptionist for minutes about private matters) - really extremely annoying!!! (this is doubly bad because the day before we were allowed to have breakfast "normally in the breakfast room with the dog", and the next day we were "virtually bullied out" by "two hotel employees plus a guest") - when checking out we received a "rotten, tarnished chocolate mini cheap praline" :-(( *super annoying* *absolutely NOT recommended* *this was "the first and last time" at the Hotel-Süd*

The beds are great, the room furnishings are very nice and very clean. The breakfast buffet is very good and plentiful. The bar is also a great place to spend some relaxing hours in the evening. The hosts and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We have already stayed there twice for a few days and will definitely book again on our next trip to Graz. Convenient location, Car park, busstop, Restaurants, super stores nearby, big and cozy room, outside Garden, neat and clean, nice location and local amnesties, more visits planned for future. Rooms were not in main building though which was a drawback

This is my second visit to Graz, and it was much more comfortable and friendly than other hotels. Breakfast was also delicious. It's not downtown, but it doesn't matter if you have a car. I plan to stay here again next time.

For a city hotel, it was a really quiet but still central location. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and well equipped, and there was a free bathrobe as well as hand and bath towels. The minibar was well stocked and the prices were OK. The breakfast buffet was very good!

There are very few parking stalls nearby the hotel, on the public road so you are forced to use the paid underground parking.
No restaurants at walking distance but only a sushi service and some sandwich shops.

Arrived at the hotel Sud on a drive from Germany to Turkey. We came in with no reservations, but were warmly greeted and offered a room at the same price we saw on the internet. The room was in a separate building from the reception, and was a flight of stairs up with no elevator. The room was large and had a kitchenette, sofa, large and comfortable bed, and delightful bathroom. Mauser was happy there, as you can see from her photos (she takes better photos in rooms she likes) . Breakfast was a buffet, but the choices were plentiful. The yogurt with granola and carious seeds/nuts is delicious. Good coffee.
