Proximity Hotel

Small boutique feel with easy parking and comfortable rooms.

We came to Greensboro for our wedding makeup trials and stayed at this hotel. It was absolutely beautiful and had a very welcoming vibe. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We ordered room service and the staff was prompt in delivery and food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Was looking to create a special evening for celebrating my wife's birthday, and Proximity Hotel proved to be a great choice, from great cocktails and appetizer in the bar to a wonderful stay in one of their spa rooms. Great experience, great setting, fun evening! Highly recommended.

The rooms are spacious, modern and well appointed. Given the hotel's rating as one of the "greenest" in the U.S. with appropriate additional small touches. Staff is friendly and efficient and Printworks, the hotel restaurant, is first rate.

Wonderful stay for our first time at this boutique property. Located in a business park, it's very quiet in the evenings and weekends, w/o the sounds of traffic going by as at a typical hotel. Not that close to restaurants as a result, but if you value quiet time, this is the place. Building itself is gorgeous with lots of great architectural features. It is a bit industrial looking, as if an old office building was converted to a hotel, so lots of concrete everywhere, but softened with various draperies, carpets and artwork. Elevators were incredibly quick for only having two of them. Service from check-in to check-out by everyone was outstanding w/o being overly in your face, which was very nice. Room had a cool classic vibe, yet with modern touches. Mattress was a tad soft to my liking, but bedding was nice. AC would never turn off, even with auto selected, which was odd, we had to turn the system off/on when we needed it as a result. We had breakfast included in our stay and we did try the Print Bistro on property. What a beautiful restaurant! The service was outstanding from our server and the food was great. Pricing was very modest, with a typical hot breakfast priced at just $13. Higher end options available, you need to try the house made cinnamon rolls or the french toast. We were in town for an annual event and will definitely stay here again next year, we highly recommend this cool place!

Cleanliness was good, but the customer service was excellent! “Upon check in, I discovered that my shawl had covered my black outfit with lint. I can’t go to my event looking like that. I asked the receptionists on duty if they could assist. They immediately went into action, retrieved a lint brush from somewhere in the back, and assisted me in looking good. Sometimes it’s the little things that make it special.” Please give the May 10th, afternoon Front Desk staff their kudos.

This was a beautiful hotel with an amazing restaurant… if I’m ever in Greensboro again, I would absolutely stay here.
