We have the option of staying at other hotels when we visit Greenville. However, the Westin will always be our first choice over the Embassy, Aloft and others. Nice cozy field.

The bed/pillows were extremely comfortable. Pinn was our favorite bartender. Catz courtesy cart to local restaurants was wonderful since I have trouble walking. Mike’s valet service made our checkin/checkout smooth and efficient. Keith Davis is a great piano player and composer! Janice is absolutely the GOAT of guest services. Food buffet each day of our conference was a cut above the traditional fare! Entire staff was very courteous, professional and most of all friendly! Thanks, Roger & Joey Pyle

Josh was above and beyond with his service handling our large breakfast crowd of 9! Courteous, kind, and efficient! The food is always wonderful and the hotel is beautiful. We always eat at Spoonbread!

This is truly a wonderful place. The renovation and the restoration they did to this grand old building is inspiring and a delight. But what really makes the Westin Poinsett just the best place to stay in Greenville is the staff. I staying at this hotel on a regular basis over the past couple of years, and the faces rarely change. They are truly wonderful people. Starting with the valets. Butch, Kevin, Jimmy, and Mike have a wonderful gift of welcoming you to the hotel. They always greet you with a smile, and call me by name. Great group of guys. The front desk is staffed with genuinely good people. Even at the busiest times Teagon, Emily, Marjorie, and the newest addition, Anna, greet you with a warm smile, and make sure everything is in order for your room. All this is overseen and run to perfection by Rachel. My favorite thing after a long day on the road is the piano lounge. John, Ping, and Jen do a wonderful job making sure your glass is full and food is prompt. They make sure your needs are met. I’ve sat down in the lobby and John always comes over to see if I need anything. Of course I can’t forget Charlie and Keith, who play the piano. I love to sit with a glass of wine and an appetizer and just listen to him play. It’s just about as relaxing as you can get. It’s a great way to unwind before a night on the town. The truth, Five Stars isn’t enough for The Westin Poinsett

This hotel is beautiful and the staff were very welcoming. Anna at the front desk and Cam in valet made my experience the best ever! Thank you so much for my birthday surprise and a wonderful stay! The perfect location to explore downtown Greenville.

Loved this property, my only concern was parking. I paid for valet parking each night which was pricey. It wasn’t clear what my options were. Otherwise staff was fantastic, hotel was clean and classy! Great location!

Afternoon Tea hosted by Mary in the Poinsett restaurant is fabulous! Mary always makes it a special experience and always treats us like Queens! Highly recommend!!! Pix are of Christmas 2023 and August 2023 birthday tea w friends. Neglected to take April 2024 Tea pictures!

I stayed at the Westin Poinsett for three nights with friends in April 2024. We had a great experience! At check-in, our rooms were ready, very clean, and adjoining as requested. The hotel is in a great location in downtown Greenville -- we didn't have to use our cars once and walked everywhere. The concierge, Janice Smith, was fantastic and went above and beyond. She was able to recommend not only restaurants but specific dishes to order (we ordered what she suggested and it did not disappoint!). She also made special arrangements for the March Madness tournament to play in the lobby which some guests had requested -- it made for such a fun atmosphere with the Westin's huge lounge area with tons of seating. The hotel offers 24/7 room service, free cookies at check-in, and had THE most comfortable beds with heavy, cozy bedding. Usually I don't sleep well in hotels, but slept great the whole trip. Thank you Westin Poinsett, and Concierge Janice especially, for a wonderful stay!

Best Lemon Drop martini I've every had thanks to bartender Pien! The piano bar at the Westin Poinsett is the perfect place for great cocktails and conversation. The live piano music lends a fun touch and the hotel has a great classic atmosphere. What a gem of a hotel and bar.
