My husband and I recently stayed at the Westin Poinsett, and I have to rave about the customer service! Everyone there was extremely polite and helpful, but I have to rave about Janice! Janice's customer service was above and beyond! We came for a wedding, and didn't realize there was an art festival going on that draws 90,000 people to the town. The roads were blocked off, and we couldn't figure out how to access the front of the hotel to valet. (GPS wasn't correct, due to the festival.) I called the hotel, and Janice answered. She told me that she was going to keep me on the phone until I arrived, and she proceeded to guide us with the directions, telling us step by step where to turn, which took about 10-15 minutes. Then once we got to the back of the hotel (turns out the entrance to the front was blocked) she told us to stay in that spot and she came out to find us. She walked us into the hotel, got a valet to gather our belongings, got us checked into our room, and then told us the best route to the spot where we were having lunch. I don't think anyone else in the world would have offered to stay on the phone until we got to the hotel, and then left the switchboard to see us in and get us settled! My husband and I said over and over that this level of service is rarely encountered these days. My son will be attending Clemson starting this fall, and my husband and I both commented that we'll never stay anywhere else when we come to Greenville. Thank you Janice!
